The spray foundation that is used by Carmady is Era Face by Classified Cosmetics. It's $55. I haven't found it anywhere cheaper yet. Still looking.

Thanks for the tip to look on ebay. I bought a trial size for 15 dollars. I think emmy looks beautiful and natural so I thought I'd buy this to give it a try. I need something that won't run when I work my 12hr or 16hr shifts. Also something for the wedding day would be nice!

Lumene makes one too, as well as ERA, Suzanne Somers, Sally Hansen and Dior. A lot of pro companies make foundations that are intended for air brush guns. But if you're going to spray the foundation on a sponge, I don't see the point.

I would so wear this foundation! I have been wearing Sally Hansen airbrush make-up for a year now. Once you try it you will never use liquid again!

CRL...
The foundation that they use on TLC's "What Not To Wear is Sally Hanson's spray on foundation. Carmendie (the make-up artist) actually sprays the foundation unto a sponge and then applies it to the skin. It is supposed to be a fresher more natural look, and you dont have to worry about getting it on your clothes or hair when applied this way. I havent tried it, but I have seen it in the store.

As for this product. Wayyyy too expensive. I use Bare Essentials and love it. It's only $25 and it last for at least 4 months, and feels like you have nothing on at all. Love, love, love!!

"Emmy Rossum refuses to wear anything but AirFlash"... Hmm, if my face is going to end up looking as un-natural as hers...I'll pass.

Melissa, the brand Carmindy uses is Classified's Era Face Foundation. I read it costs about $55 but also read that Suzanne Somers has the same thing in her makeup line sold on HSN for about half the price - made by the same manufacturer and with slightly different color names but is supposedly the exact same product. "If you use a spray foundation YOU must apply with sponge..It will give you a great finish..Use a moisturizer underneath to give it something smooth to glide on..and then a light dusting of powder.." (from another web site). Someone on that site also said they'd tried the Sally Hansen product and loved it.

I believe the one that is used on What Not to Wear is ERA Face Spray-on foundation. It runs about $40.

Way too expensive for me. I am also skeptical, just don't know how you would get it even and keep it from running or rubbing off, etc. Kinda like a "spray-on face"??? Not for me. I will stick to my Loreal.

Like KM said, they use spray-on fondation on TLC's What Not to Wear, except they spray it on a sponge first and then apply it. I'm still trying to find out the brand of the fondation Carmindy, the makeup artist in the show, uses. Hopefully, it's cheaper than this one.

I'd love to try it but the price puts me off. I avoid foundation as much as possible because I can't stand the feeling of having clogged skin, I've been thinking about trying the Dior for some time but I just can't bring myself to shell out $60 on a maybe. So I'll be waiting for one of the other premium brands to bring out a slightly cheaper version. Plus the lightest colour looks like it would be orange on my superpale skin.
