Bright Idea: Spray Foundation

I hate the feeling of caked-on foundation so when I heard about Dior’s AirFlash, I had to try it. It was a little scary applying foundation like hairspray to my face, but it was suprisingly airy and fresh! It didn’t get on my clothes or hair and was easy to blend with a brush. The mother of pearl pigments felt light and soft on my face, and after about eight hours of dinner and dancing, it still felt like I had just applied–no running down my face, cracking or clumping. It’s no wonder Emmy Rossum refuses to wear anything but AirFlash. It can be bought at sephora.com for $60 a bottle. Would you try this spray foundation? I promise, once you do you’ll be hooked!- Andrea DeSimone

I dont wear foundation, but the idea sounds great.

Wouldn’t you run the risk of getting the stuff in your hair? I don’t think I’ll be trying it.

KT from Cda

Nice idea but too much mulla!

Faye

Too expensive.

Tiffany

I found it on eBay for $25! That is the Buy It Now price with just $4.99 for shipping. Not bad! I am going to try it out because I am sick of applying foundation with my hands. Yuck!

Mary

It’s an interesting idea, even though I don’t wear foundation. However, if it’s anything like the Sally Hansen spray-on leg makeup (which doesn’t work too well), it wouldn’t be worth the $60.

They use spray-on foundation on TLC’s What Not To Wear all the time and their contestants look great. My only problem is the price. If there’s a cheaper version I’ll be sure to buy.

I can’t pay 60 bucks for foundation. I have to set limits and that is one of them. And with summer coming i won’t need foundation.

Lis

it sounds good but i’m still skeptical, how can you apply this without getting it on your hair or clothes? Might try it if theres a cheaper version.
