America Ferrera's Affordable Red Carpet Look

03/15/2007 at 05:30 PM ET

The Ugly Betty star and Golden Globe winner stepped out for the Television Festival in Los Angeles wearing head-to-toe Kenneth Cole — which means that unlike other red carpet looks, this one is surprisingly afforable.  The actress played up her curves in a cinched waist dress, that’s available in purple for only $188 here. Her adorable red strappy sandals, which are also available in black, purple and blue can be picked up at Kenneth Cole’s online shoe shop for $170. Too bad an award-winning show wasn’t that easy to get!

I love the shoes but the dress looks like a sack. I do not like the color on her either.

she’s really pretty, i dont like the dress that much but it’s not horrible. Her big and beatiful smile is her best accessory.

It’s not the best dress she’s worn but it’s cute enough.

I think the purple color would have been a better choice for skintone but she’s adorable and I LOVE LOVE LOVE her show Ugly Betty I never miss it!!!!

I love America! She’s so real and approachable. She looks gorgeous, but not overdone. Such a breath of fresh air! I wish more stars were like America.

She is so cute. But the dress is tragic. Looks like a cheap sundress she picked up at the dollar store. But she sure is a pretty girl.

I don’t like her dress and her hair style. But those shoes is good.

Gotta agree about the dress. It isn’t very flattering. I wouldn’t pay that much for shoes though but if I had money I guess I would. I’ve shoes from Walmart for $12 and they where the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. And no, they didn’t fall apart while I was wearing it. It makes me laugh when people say that Walmart’s clothes fall apart all the time. Most of my clothes come from there and that’s never happened. I used to buy expensive clothing and they would fall apart and shrink.

Ferrera has got the hair and shoes going for her on the Red Carpet but that dress is not even worth talking about because of it being so dull and plain.
