You Asked, We Found: Lindsay Lohan's New Bag

I love Lindsay’s bag in StarTracks! Where can I get one myself? - Sandi, NYC

What would lunch in the trendy Meatpacking District in NYC be for recently blonde Lindsay Lohan without a hot new purse? And considering that the actress is the face of the company’s spring ad campaign, it comes as no surprise that the Long Island native was carrying Miu Miu’s new Spring/Summer 2007 tan and white tie dye leather bag with long shoulder strap, $1,595. Sadly, the bag isn’t available online, but you can pop into select Miu Miu boutiques or call (888) 977-1900 to order. And if you don’t want to shell out such big bucks, we’ve rounded up some similar, but more wallet-friendly styles.

Yuck – I hate leather anything. I don’t know why in the world people would spend so much money on something so awful. It’s ugly anyway!!!

What i find ugly is when people spend 1500 on a handbag when most families in the united states is there monthly income. That is what i find disgusting.

$1600 for a bag (an ugly one at that)? What a waste. I don’t care if I were Lindsay Lohan or Bill Gates and had all the money in the world.. a purse is a purse! I would still walk my ass into Walmart and pick one out for $10… and it’d be a lot cuter than the one Lindsay Lohan is carrying!!
And I would also think “okay, since I’m not spending $1600 on a purse, I only spent $10.. I will donate $1590 to charity” celebrities are fortunate to have the jobs they do and they could help a lot more than they do.

The bag is cute,BUT ummm is that a freaking fur Poncho she has on? GROSS!

I doubt that she actually paid for the bag. Being the new face of the company, she probably got a million things for free.

Wearing fur and wearing leather are two different things.
Millions of cows and pigs and lambs are killed every day for meat and it will continue to be that way for at least our lifetime. Their skin is used for leather.
And furry animals such as minks and foxes, are bred only for their fur and nobody eats them, so it’s a much bigger waste. Plus they are small animas, compared to a cow a pig, so you need to kill a lot of them to make something decent.
