Would You Wear Rosettes On Your Ankles Like Sarah Jessica’s?

Out and about in New York City yesterday, Sarah Jessica Parker was the essence of urban chic while showing off her new clothing line, Bitten. We love the form-fitting belted dress and tailored jacket, all from her new affordable line, which will be available in the end of June at Steve & Barry’s stores. But what about those shoes? Always the trendsetter, Parker finished off her look with Alexander McQueen’s peep-toe pumps that have organza rosettes on the back of the ankle straps. They remind us of the big roses her Sex & The City character Carrie Bradshaw used to wear around her neck! Now, these shoes may be sexy with a cocktail dress (as long as you have very skinny ankles), but for a daytime look they seem a bit much. What about you: Would you wear rosettes on your ankles?

Wow, I’m the first one to post apparently! Her outfit is fine, but those shoes are ummmm… interesting. Personally, I would never want to have rosettes on my shoes and I think those shoes are ugly.

I love the shoes!

I didn’t even notice the rosettes on the back of her shoes. I thought she looked fabulous before the rosettes, and I still think she looks good now. Personally I think SJP looks good in anything she wears; Carrie definitely rubbed off on her!!!

I think they’re adorable shoes, they just don’t do for day wear.

Just love them! They really match her outfit and sunglasses, so I don’t see any problem…

see i don’t think jessica really has any sense of style for my taste.
Belted dresses again remind me of the 80’s i have let go of that era but looking like fashion design has not.
i just hope the fingerless lace gloves do not return.
