Would You Wear Rosettes On Your Ankles Like Sarah Jessica’s?

Out and about in New York City yesterday, Sarah Jessica Parker was the essence of urban chic while showing off her new clothing line, Bitten. We love the form-fitting belted dress and tailored jacket, all from her new affordable line, which will be available in the end of June at Steve & Barry’s stores. But what about those shoes? Always the trendsetter, Parker finished off her look with Alexander McQueen’s peep-toe pumps that have organza rosettes on the back of the ankle straps. They remind us of the big roses her Sex & The City character Carrie Bradshaw used to wear around her neck! Now, these shoes may be sexy with a cocktail dress (as long as you have very skinny ankles), but for a daytime look they seem a bit much. What about you: Would you wear rosettes on your ankles?

StyleWatch Editors Want to Know: How Much Would You Pay for a Haircut?

We have seen a meteoric rise in price for haircuts in the past several years, sparked by shag goddess Sally Hershberger (think Meg Ryan’s iconic cut) and her $350 price tag. We thought that had topped off at Madonna-fave Orlando Pita’s $800 fee. But like designer bags, fees for seeing a high-profile stylist seem to have no limit, and celeb stylist Ted Gibson is now setting the jaw-dropping pace for highest price. You’re going to have to cough up $950 to get a turn in the same chair in which his celeb clients, like Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie, entrust him with their tresses. Uh, we think we’ll just stick to his much more affordable product line. But we want to know what you think! Tell us: What is the most you would pay for a haircut? What is the most expensive cut you’ve gotten to date?

Want your answer to appear in print? To have your comment considered for the next issue of PEOPLE’s StyleWatch, please INCLUDE your first name and last initial, your age and your hometown/state.
