The modelling industry could totally expand and add sections for average and petite women and then the super tall models could be there for … you guessed it… super tall women. If the modelling industry were that way then you’d see how diverse BEAUTY is.

Why should an industry as gigantic as the clothing industry(what we cover our naked bodies with, something all people use) be based on using such a small section of society for advertisement and promotion. It’s not logical.

I have no use for anything that makes women think they are superior for something they inherited genetically.

To Kim, I think that all heights on women can be lovely. Since 5’4″ is the average female height than 5’5″ or 5’6″ is not squatty or short, it’s above average. Also celebs are known to give themselves a 2″ bump in height so many celebs are actually around average height (check out the website celebheights).It really depends on the person if they command a huge amount of attention and different clothes look best on different body types. Many women have the physique of a supermodel just in a smaller package.

I have friends who are taller (5’8″ and up) and friends who are more around the average height. They are all pretty, some model but the one who commans the most attention is 5’5″. She has the most outstandinly long legs and she looks like a brunette exotic barbie. The point is height does not equate to beauty. It is not height that makes a woman beautiful, it is a woman that makes her height beautiful. Short, tall, or average beauty is in all things big or small. A diamond can be tiny and can command just as much attention as a mountain.

I do not support any industry or group that is exclusionary based on prejudicial details, it is simply unhealthy for society.

It truly is ashame that the fashion industry’s “standards” of height consider women under 5’7″ not to be beautiful (enough)! I have met and seen plenty of women who are 5’6″ or 5’4″ or shorter. I find myself wishing I was just as beautiful as they are and I am almost 6ft, I have long legs and long arms (the fashion industys standards). And, it’s also ashame and disappointing at times, that over the centuries and today as well that BEAUTY has been such an OBESSION. Taking an educated guess (here), perhaps humans have consider beauty in women to be a rare thing like diamonds or gold hence, the reason why it’s so coveted….?

But really, the “standards” of what physical beauty is in women, is so ARBITRARY and so SUPERFICIAL, that it makes the actaul practice of these “standards” a rather ugly and unhealthy human trait! There is so much more meaning and philosophy to life than that. I am glad there are women in the public’s eye like Scarlet Johanson, Beyonce, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Hudson, Helena Boham-Carter, who don’t fit the critera of “standards in beauty”. They are round, short, and different…but, they are beautiful women!

Anyway, being tall (outside the modeling industry) can be a major drag because finding the right clothes that fit nicely and that are a decent price is a QUEST!!

SO, to those who wish they were taller, be happy you are not faced with hassel of having to spend extra time and $$$$ just to go shopping for the right clothes….the choices become really limited (especially) if, your bank account isn’t as tall as you! So, just a tid bit of advice, be careful what you wish for…okay.

Yeah, the fashion designers only make clothes for their tall models but, and NOT for the women out there who are not models. Which I never understood the logic in that!?!

As for her makeup, no two women should wear their makeup exactly the same way, since no two women have exactly the same features. Ms. Bullock is (sorry, hon) not precisely a spring chicken, and therefore might need a bit more coverage. All in all, I think her makeup is lovely, although, I might have toned down the blush a bit.

Anyhow, her dress is incredible, her hair looks wonderfully sexy, and she is rocking the look. Love her sculpted arms! She is still my only celebrity idol.
