You really need a quality ceramic or tourmaline flat iron - NOT something cheap from a discount store, because those will fry your hair. A quality iron will seal your cuticle, which will protect your hair from humidity and make it sleek and shiny. Higher-quality irons are made with higher quality metals that are less damaging to the hair, also. Nicole's eyebrows are probably darkened because she's so fair-skinned. Her eyebrows are naturally a very light shade, and makeup artists most likely darkened them so they'd show up in photos and on camera.
