Would You Let Yourself Go Gray? Roseanne Is!

A honey blonde Roseanne Barr — who’s now 54 — told the ladies of The View on Tuesday that she’s “over it!” “I’m gonna stop dying my hair and go all the way gray … ’cause I want to look old because I am old and I think it’s damn good to be old, too.” From a woman who’s talked openly of her plastic surgery (she says she got a facelift at 39, had a nosejob and redid her eyelids) that’s some big — and brave — talk. Her hair is even looking cute these days, with a color that softens her features and is a big improvement from the harsh black or platinum blonde that she’s tried in the past. We’ll see if she actually follows through — View cohost Joy Behar basically said no way to doing it herself (“In my family, as you got older, you got blonder. It was like a Zsa Zsa Gabor syndrome,” she said). Can women age gracefully without good highlights? Even finding the occasional gray hair can be a shock for us. Tell us: would you give up hair dye and go completely gray? Have you already?

Sandra Bullock’s Supermodel Photo Phobia

Even mega-stars get nervous about getting their photo taken — especially with supermodels! Sandra Bullock co-stars with willowy Amber Valletta in her new movie Premonition, opening on Friday, and at the L.A. premiere last night, Sandra jokingly balked at having their photo taken together. A mock-reluctant Sandra said, “Yeah, just what I want to do, have my picture taken standing next to a beautiful supermodel.” Amber pouted and responded,”Hey. I’m an actress now.” Sandra caved and the two posed together (quite well, we think), and then after the shots, she told PEOPLE, “They know how to stand right, and I always end up looking like a linebacker.” Amber ended up returning the photo favor by pointing out an amethyst that dropped out of Sandra’s beautiful bracelet. “This is the jewel that just fell out of my bracelet,” Sandra said as her publicist handed it back to her, “the one that I twisted and said ‘This might fall off.’ And then I said ‘Oh, it’s not going to fall off. Stop being paranoid.” So much for premonitions.

Tori Spelling Pulls Off a No Maternity Clothes Pregnancy!

Chalk it up to tent dresses, oversize tunics, empire waists and the other voluminous fashion trends of this year, but Tori Spelling has made it almost to the end of her pregnancy without switching to maternity wear. We’ve gotten the giggles over her endless fashion faceoffs with non-pregnant stars (like Mena Suvari and Molly Sims), but it is remarkable! Sure, Tori started out as a tiny size two so she had a few sizes to expand into, but she can’t be alone in her decision to skip the maternity section. Will other pregnant stars like Naomi Watts and Salma Hayek follow her lead? Will the rest of us be mistaken for being pregnant in our billowing sundresses?

Expecting or not, everyone looks good in this paillette-topped Alice+Olivia bubble dress. Get your own in yellow at nordstrom.com, $295.

Jennifer Hudson’s New Role: Avon Lady

That ringing noise you hear is the sound of stars cashing in on their Oscar-related fame: first, Best Supporting Actor nominee Djimon Hounsou signed on to be the face of Calvin Klein’s new underwear line, Steel. Now, Avon’s just announced that Jennifer Hudson will be the spokeswoman for their fragrance Imari as well as Imari Seduction, which is launching in August. “It’s exciting to be representing the Imari brand, which really embodies confidence and femininity,” Hudson said in a statement. The star will appear in print ads and in the Avon catalogue promoting the perfume; hopefully, no python bolero jackets will be harmed in the making of this campaign.

Get the Look: Straight Hair is Back!

Judging by the long, pin-straight hair that ruled the Oscar red carpet — Reese, Gwyneth and Nicole — we’re all going to be spending a lot of time juggling our hairdryers and round brushes. To speed up the process and avoid arm fatigue, use a lightweight hairdryer that works in half the time, like the T3 Bespoke Labs Featherweight Dryer, $200. To achieve Nicole Kidman’s sleek ‘do, stylist Chris McMillan applied Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum, $34, before and after blow-drying to fight frizz and add shine. And to ensure her hair was perfectly straight, McMillan finished it up with a FHI flatiron, $110. He called the final look “simple and elegant, with clean lines to accent the silhouette of her dress.” If you plan on using dryers and irons on a regular basis and want to maintain the health of your hair, be sure to use products that protect hair from heat and apply a deep conditioning treatment or mask on a weekly basis.

If you can’t afford the same products the stars use, here are a few that are hair and wallet friendly.

1. T-Studio Collection by Remington Active Ion, Tourmaline & Ceramic Flat Iron, $40 at ulta.com

2. Conair ION Shine Double Ionic Turbo Styler, $33 at conair-store.com

3. John Frieda Reinforce Strengthening Triple Creme Masque, $5.00 at ulta.com
