Star Jones's Latest Makeover: Lawyer Style

03/08/2007 at 10:31 AM ET

We didn’t know that Star Jones Reynolds had any more reinventions left in her — her dramatic weight loss several years ago was so over-the-top, it was virtually impossible to recognize the then-View host. After a scandalous departure and laying low for a few months, Star has emerged with yet another radical reinvention — serious legal eagle. Gone are the long, loose waves and shimmering makeup. No more sexy minidresses to show off her new svelte figure, gone is the mega-bling. In their place, we see sleek straight caramel hair, tortoise shell glasses (don’t they always convey serious and smart?) and low-key tailored separates. What’s next for the new Court TV host? Pinstriped suits and low pumps? Tell us: What do you think of Star’s new look? Which style do you prefer for her?

I like everything EXCEPT the glasses (and maybe even the hair…it could be the glasses/hair combo I don’t like) on her.

i agree, she looked a hell of a lot better when she was heavy, she looks HORRIBLE!

I never was a Star Jones Fan. Like everybody else, I was turned off with the whole wedding thing and I was amused when she beats Babs to the punch announcing they were letting her go from “The View”. However she lost the weight, it doesn’t matter how. I have to applaude her – as I wonder how many people writing in here haven’t been able to take off even 20 extra pounds they know they should lose. Biggest slap in the face she received was not only Rosie making a big stink about how she lost the weight, after they get rid of Star, they hire big mouth Rosie to take her spot! I don’t know why it mattered to Rosie so much to call Star out on how she lost weight – maybe just jealousy. Everybody doesn’t have to be a free advertisement for some Hollywood doctor. Star did great and Rosie lost …………nothing??? Haven’t watched “The View” (or is it called “Rosie’s View” now??)or anything put out by Barbara since. I think if Star happy with her new look, then that is all that should matter to her.

I like Star’s new look, however she looks better with black hair. But I love the bob cut on her. However I still think that she needs to gain a little more weight.

I saw her on ET, she looks funny now and those glasses got to go.

I never did like her. she looks awful she should get a dark wig that might make her big head smaller and I will not watch court tv. that is for sure

Ok, sometimes people just need to realize that they are not meant to be thin. Sure, Star probably should have lost a few pounds if she wanted to feel better about herself, but she was beautiful before her bypass and her face actually fit her body. Now, she looks like one of those really bad altered pictures where they put someone’s head on someone else’s body. SHE LOOKS SICK!

Dee on

She looks STRESS FREE.
She looks HEALTHY.
She looks AS GOOD AS SHE PROBABLY FEELS.
KUDOS to you Star, and
the BEST TO YOU on your new endeavor.

BE BLESSED.
