Hot Shop: Jessica Simpson Hits Kirna Zabete

Another town, another store. While in New York City filming scenes for her new movie Blonde Ambition and hanging out with boyfriend John Mayer last week, Jessica Simpson found some time to visit celeb-fave boutique Kirna Zabete. Jessica’s visit didn’t faze any staffers — according to co-owner Beth Buccini, “any celebrity you can think of us has been in here, and lots of them come in everyday!” Though her purchases are confidential per store policy, we have a pretty good sense of what she might have snapped up. Co-owner Sarah Easily tells us that Lanvin ballet flats are flying off the shelves (Cameron Diaz and Naomi Watts are fans of the style), espcially in spring shades of gold, silver, red and navy. And their prediction for their next hot item? Kate Moss’s beloved Superfine jeans in skinny, high waist or flare styles in faded black and black wax (at $200-$300 a pair, they are among the cheapest items in the store). In the early 80′s ballet shoes were the rage for teen age girls i refuse to wear them again 20 yrs later.

Ballet shoes are so comfy plus can be work with anything where pants or skirt. However, I also think that you can find just as cute ones for much less than the $250 that are shown here.

I absolutley love Jesica Simpson. She has great taste in clothes and shoes, so I will definatley be checking this place out!!! Can’t wait!!! I ‘m going to buy so many ballet flats there! Ballet Flats are so comfy and stylish. You can wear them daily and because they are so easy to match with, you don’t have to worry about a thing!

It’s a great store, I’ve been there once, but if they are only selling ballet flats, I’ll pass on going again. Ballet flats hurt my feet way too much, I’ll stick to my high-arched heels.
