Mary-Kate's "essay" is parallel...to some of those people who call themselves "artists" who try to convince the world that what they made is significant art....where they waltz into the gaint gallery space like their on cloud 9 (dressed like one of the Olsen twins...being oh so "original") to show off their new "brillant" installation piece (which they got a $30,000 grant to help fund this "art") of blue plastic hair curlers stuck in clumps of mud sparsely placed in clusters on the floor, and with bright red paint splashed on the walls dribbling down to the floor, with little toy soilders in a circle formation in the middle of the room and as you step out of the gallery space there on the floor is a mat saying "welcome", oh and be sure to see the 11' x 11' abstract acrylic painting that's white like the ceiling that it's hanging from on your way out! Now was that a waste of time, money, effort, and did it make any sense to you or what!?!
