Oscar Night Style: Who Did You Love On The Red Carpet?

After months of speculating and anticipating, the Oscar nominees and presenters finally floated down the red carpet in all their glory. Our heads are still spinning over all the looks. Jennifer Lopez was one of the first to arrive and set the bar high in her elegant silk Marchesa gown. Many other lovelies in pale shades followed, including Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet and Gwyneth Paltrow. Cate Blanchett mixed it up with dark tulle over a shimmering sliver Armani Prive gown. On the other side of the color spectrum, Nicole Kidman stood out in her dramatic Balenciaga column gown and Reese Witherspoon showed off some curves in a deep Nina Ricci gown. I’m sorry, but Reese made me want to gag. She needs to go back to more retro/glam stuff. I don’t like her hair that length. I think it makes her face look too long and her chin look to witch-like. Sorry, but there it is! Kate Winslet…That’s perfection!

for me it has to be cate blanchett’s dress is was like molten silver draped all over her, when i saw it i was like god i think i am in love.
second place goes to jennifer lopez she looked so so royal and carefree and last goes to an unknown in the league Forest Whitaker’s wife Keisha, i thought the yellow complimented her skin and the details on the dress were very pretty.
dresses i didnt like were penelope,nicole and meryl streep.

Helen Mirren looked fantastic. Her dress was gorgeous on her; it fitted her perfectly and she looked liked she loved wearing it. Many of the others looked somewhat stiff like they were dying to breathe but couldn’t take the risk for fear of misplacing a seam, a piece of jewelry, or a lock of hair–Gwyneth,Nicole, Jennifer H.
Also loved Abigail Breslin’s dress. Don’t know the designer, but it was exactly the right style, cut and color for this charming little girl and made her look like a princess.

LOVED Reese!!! was the best dressed!!!, but P. Cruz was really awful!!! she looks like a bad and cheap wedding cake!!!

I wonder what do you Ladies, find so stunning in Reese’s dress? It does highlight all the curves of her perfect figure, but the color… that is one bad color, I would say, and remember that yellow dress she wore on the red carpet a month ago, do you really think it is pretty? I feel like the celebrity blogs run a secret Reese campaign! (PS: but to be fair, she is a great actress and she is really cute, but the dresses….)

All the gowns looked good but nothing striked me. I just feel I’ve seen the same looks over and over. what makes it worst is that the looks always pertains to the same actress.

I thought Reeses dress looked horrible!! It resembled purple cabbage or an upside down head of romaine lettuce,in purple! The yellow number by Olivier Theyskens was gorgeous though!!!
