I have purchased items from PremiereProps.com before their customer service was excellent. Sometimes it's the customer -- not the service :>

The two Premiere Props reps I spoke to were both polite and answered all my questions.

FYI: if you know anything at all about movie props you know that movie memorabilia fans want the props and costumes preserved EXACTLY as they were last worn and used in the movie -- this is what makes them authentic. Often the "stains" are prop blood or wine spill that was part of the action in the movie. How embarrassing it would be to find that an authentic movie costume was cleaned of the proof that it was screen-used! Also, the plastic ensures that no mold, bacteria, or humidity can damage the cloth -- that is the proper way to preserve them, exactly so they do NOT get moldy or musty.

Premiere Props has authentic wardrobe items, but they are wrapped in plastic after a movie is shot, stains and all! Imagine how musty clothes get after being stored in plastic for years. Thats what you'll get! Their customer service dept. is horrible!

I think more studios should all have big charity auctions with everything available right after the film's premiere - movie props, costumes, any movie memorabilia that can be sold. I know many fans who go to a premiere - props lover's especially - are exactly the type to pay top dollar too!

It's an awesome idea! Except, who would want to buy these clothes anyway?!?! It's a great idea but if you're going to do a charity thing like this, you might want to actually use clothes worth wearing.

I think it's a great idea! For once there's a real connection between the movie (= music) and the charity they're associating themselves with (restoring music education in public schools). Now I want to see how high the garments go for! It's going to be crazy.
