What’s Rinko Kikuchi’s Red Carpet Personality?

Rinko Kikuchi, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Babel, is definitely this award season’s Wild One.

Signature Look: Never afraid to be labled a red carpet Don’t, the Babel star pushes the envelope in dresses that are unapologetically couture. She lets her scene-stealing gowns take center stage, keeping her hair (often in an updo or soft curls) and makeup (pale lips and smoky eyes) simple.

Favorite Designers: Kikuchi has been loyal to Karl Lagerfeld, wearing Chanel dresses, shoes and fine jewelry almost exclusively the entire awards season.

What She Will Wear: Hmm…perphaps Chanel?

The 1st on is alright but I don’t care for the other 2. Her taste is too out there for me. I know I’ve read that she is dressing to what it is like where she comes from but that still won’t change my mind about her fashion choices. Well, atleast she does stand out.

Lucille

Rinko Kikuchi definitely has some wild style. I don’t like her dresses at all, for such a pretty face she can go to some really wild horizons!

Eileen

yen

she has original sense of style, she looks cute like that she might go for chanel.

claire

It doesn’t matter what she wears, she still looks gorgeous. Love her style!

I think Chanel again though I think she should go in a different direction. The 3rd dress with the puffs hanging down the bottom looked really nice when I saw it go down the runway at the Chanel show but not so flattering on her. I would love to see her experiment with someone new. I think she would look chic if she tried Luca Luca or possibly Prada.
