Marc Jacobs & Pals Conquer London Fashion Week

The much anticipated Marc By Marc Jacobs Fall 2007 show finally kicked off this evening at Claridge’s hotel in London and the New York designer certainly added some A-list eye candy to the closing show of the week. In town to open his new Mayfair store, the designer had a front row bursting with celeb pals including Selma Blair, Naomi Campbell and Sofia Coppola who all applauded his geek-chic collection, “It was like a boarding school fiesta!” Blair told PEOPLE after the show. “It was cuddly and sexy and I loved all the cream tights,” she said, herself in tiny, ruffled gold strapless dress. Coppola, the designer’s “muse” kept her comments short and sweet, “The clothes were cute and it’s fun to be in the ballroom at Claridge’s.” We’re sure more fun was to be had at the exclusive after party held at the store straight afterwards – watch this space!

I am loving Selma Blair’s makeup and rocker chic look! It takes guts and confidence to rock a look like that! Go girl…

I personally think the look was overdone. Is Selma Blair anorexic or something? God, she’s gorgeous but her dress was really flashy and the boots really didn’t match. Sorry, Selma. I know you’re known for high fashion, but this look didn’t come out as good as you intended out to be.

She looks like an endagered species of some f’ed up bird. This is not rock-n-roll, if any of us walked around looking like that, we’d get locked in the looney bin.

She looks like a hideous starving creature of death covered in gold foil. Just disgusting.

Icky. The black tights and bare arms just aren’t working for me – neither is the gold foil with the yellow hair – too harsh.
