What’s in Ashley Tisdale’s Shopping Bag?

What does a 21-year-old TV star with a brand new album shop for in New York City? Not what you’d think. PEOPLE tagged along with High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale on her CD release day, Feb. 6, as she perused the racks at Scoop NYC. After all, the girl’s a born shopper — she was discovered in a mall at age 3. But in a store full of party-perfect pieces, all she wants are sweats. What’s more, “I like ‘em baggy,” she says. (Hey, even pop stars like to be comfy!) While Ashley tried on Free City hoodies and sweatpants at a breakneck pace, Ashley’s mom, Lisa Tisdale, pointed out that her daughter’s already got “hundreds of sweats.” “Mom, they’re Free City,” Ashley explains of the Ron Herman vintage line. “They’re my favorite!” The eventual haul: sweatpants in white, black and green; sweatshirts in yellow and white. Though Ashley wanted to do the rest of the day’s promotional appearances in her new loungy duds (really, who wouldn’t?) she stopped into Arden B and picked up a cute, versatile babydoll top instead.

I really do not like this girl- she can’t sing. her hair looks kinda fake (it is- she dies it and almost wears a wig it is so damged) she sorta reminds me of paris hilton. the only thing i was glad about was she wasn’t covered by the media that much- well that will probebly change now.
