They were VERY comfortable and VERY easy to walk in. Don't forget, the front part of the shoe is on a platform and so the "incline" of your foot is not that much. Period. Gwen makes the shoes so very obvious with the tight ankles of her pants. A no-no. Tight looks good with her butt, not with her shoes. With pants, wear the cuffs a little loose, the cuffs should come over the tops of the shoes. Make the pants longer, your legs look longer. Make teh shoes stand out, and you get hooker comments. JLo on the other hand, carries it off much better. Teh mini and tights go well with HIGH heels, showing off those wonderful legs and feet (and everything else). Yes, she looks taller, and she should. Obviously both women have put in the time to learn how to walk in HIGH heels, and do it well, with poise, balance, dignity & grace, something quite a few of the commenters should learn. Wearing heels is like running a marathon, you don't go out and run 20Km the first day. You work up to it. You don't wear 6" heels the first time you put on heels, you work up to it.
