Wacky Fashion: Why We Love the Grammys

Sure, the Oscars may have the glamour, and the VMAs may have the cool quotient — but we love the Grammys because it’s the award ceremony that always has the wackiest fashion choices. From Mary J. Blige’s Big-Bird inspired Gucci ensemble to Teri Hatcher’s I-see-London-I-see-France dress of last year, someone always turns up in an outfit that tests the boundaries of good taste and tickles our fashion funny bone. We can’t wait for tonight’s show to see who will crash and burn on the red carpet this year (and rock out onstage too!). Tell us: Who are you looking forward to seeing at the Grammys?

I really like the Petro Zillia dress Joss Stone wore! That’s not a good picture of it but it’s young and fun. Oh my god though, what was Britney Spears wearing and what is up with that face she’s pulling? Weird.

The dress is more than enough yellow, why did she wear that yellow coat with it? Oh jeez. I love Mary J. Blige’s voice regardless of how she dresses.

I’m looking forward to seeing the performances and so forth and to see who is wearing what. Hopefully you’ll share them on the board, so we can give our opinion on what we thought of some of their dress atire.

I was NOT a fan of the outfits at this year’s Grammys! Everything was either totally wacky or just blah boring (another metallic minidress? yawn!). There weren’t any outfits that I was actually excited about, but then again, there are far fewer A-list women at the Grammys than at the Oscars and Emmys.
