Camilla Belle: Fashionista of the Week

02/09/2007 at 05:00 PM ET

Looking fresh during Mercedes Benz Fall Fashion Week in NYC is no easy feat for a show-hopping celeb. First there are the outfit changes (must show designer loyalty!), not to mention trying to look chic when it’s nine degrees outside, as it was most days. Which is why we found it so impressive that actress Camilla Belle (last seen in When a Stranger Calls) managed to look appropriate and fashion-forward at every event she went to this week, including Max Azria, Oscar de la Renta and Miss Sixty. “I mix it up a bit,” she says about her fashion week philosophy. “I do a lot of changing!” One thing’s for sure, Belle definitely prefers being a spectator, rather than the center of attention: “It’s a bit nerve-wracking to walk,” she says about her Red Dress runway strut. “[Watching] the shows, you can just sit back and relax.”

She looks great, but what has she done to deserve this kind of publicity. She did one movie and thats it (and it sucked) so until she earns her star power i just don’t give a crap.

She looks so sophisticated in these photos and seems to have a classic sense of style. I would definitely wear those clothes…except for the top on the far left… lol

haha- Angela I agree with you…hahaha

The only thing other than the movie that she has done is being the “face” of Princess perfume from Vera Wang.

steph on

She looks a bit like Ms. Lohan in these pics.

She’s done more than just one movie, guys. She was in the Ballad of Jack and Rose (which is a beautiful movie) and Rip Girls for Disney a couple of years ago. She’s in a lot of low-budget films.

Anyway, I think her outfits are very beautiful, but they make her look a bit frumpy in the first two.

i like Camilla Belle’s style a little shy but she presents herself graciously walking down the runway. look forward to seeing her in other movies to come.

i love dark chocolate on

i like the last one with the cute patterned dress. that really flatters her figure.

she looks great, a little too mature for such a younge age but appropriate and lovely.from the photos from left to right, she goes from looking like an innocent girl to a mature woman. i dont think it matters what films you’ve done , we’re fashion critics not film. let the clothes speak for themselves .

I agree with Vonnie, she’s also been in a movie called
“Quills”, when she was a little younger a few years back.
She also was the young chick who marries Collin Farel
for a brief period of time. Besides all that, she still looks cute in her petite little clothes.

No, that wasn’t Camilla, that was Amelia Warner who married Colin Farrell. Look it up if you don’t believe me.

The first one looks like something a child would wear but the 2nd & 3rd are very nice.

I like them all very nice!

She’s actually been in quite a few movies: When a Stranger Calls, The Quiet, The Chumscrubber, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, the sequal to the secret garden, Rip Girls, and then small roles in A Little Princess and the 2nd Jurassic Park. She’s also in the up and coming movie 10,000 BC.

I love her sense of style! It’s dressy, but can be pulled off in casual situations too. She really knows her fashion. On top of that, she’s a talented actres.

Camilla has great style and carries herself with class at every event. She is one of the top IT GIRLS at the fashion shows in America and throughout Europe and she adorns the covers of many fashion magazines here and abroad. Her outfits are adorable, and how very chic to change them up with a whole new look often. For those who feel her attention is undeserved should take 3 seconds to look up the last TWENTY SIX movies she has had a major role in at, not to mention her many other modeling appearances. Looking forward to seeing more photos of this lovely fashionista.

wow so many people are here are so ignorant in terms of quality films. camilla belle is one of this generation’s most talented actresses.

she doens’t really do the whole hollywood celebrity blockbuster thing, but i don’t think doing romantic comedies and meaningless action flicks makes an actress anything but rich and famous.

she generally does lowbudget indie movies. check out the ballad of jack and rose, the chumscrubber, the quiet or 10,000 bc before you make stupid comments like this.

cute clothes btw

Tabloids keeps saying what a “nice girl” she is. She started dating Joe Jonas the minute he broke up with Taylor Swift. Can’t she see that if he will do that to Taylor, he is likely to axe her for another girl..In my opinion, she is beautiful, but very naive.
