StyleWatch Editors Want to Know: What’s Your Favorite Fragrance?

From Marilyn Monroe to Nicole Kidman, Chanel No. 5 has been on the pulsepoints of some of the century’s most stylish women. Fragrance is one of the most personal things you can wear — scents change depending on individual body chemistry, so a perfume rarely smells the same on any two people. We want to know: What’s your favorite fragrance? Do you have signature scent or switch around?

If I am feeling sporty or casual I will spritz on some Clinique Happy, if I am trying to give off a more sophisticated vibe I wear Ralph Lauren Romance.

I have two absolute favourite perfumes. My summer fragrance is Ralph Lauren Blue because it is so light and airy and smells fresh. For the winter, I switch over to Burberry Brit or Red as both smell warm and inviting

Favorite = Clinique Happy Heart
I wore it all the time when my boyfriend and I started dating. It iss almost gone, so I’ve not been using it here lately. The other day I put just a hint on, and he noticed. His face lit up and said, “That’s the way you smelled when we first started dating!”

I ADORE ‘Lovely’ by Sarah Jessica Parker. It has a soft, sophisticated, girly scent.

Happy by Clinque is my staple signature scent. I am always told how good I smell when I wear it. When I want to switch it up, I’ll go for Beautiful Sheer (Estee Lauder) for something soft and romantic (I always feel so feminine when I wear it). My third standby when I really need some change is Babydoll by Yves St. Laurent.

For everyday, I love to mix together a couple of Trish McEvoy’s numbered scents (favorite: gardenia musk with snowdrop and crystal flowers). For evening, I recently started wearing Cartier’s Delices and love it! Both are subtle, yet distinctive.
