Ellen Degeneres Gets Glam For the Oscars

Oscar fans brace yourselves: Ellen DeGeneres just may pull a Beyoncé. The ultra-casual talk-show host will leave her khakis and sneakers at home Feb. 25 when she helms the Oscars, thanks to names like Gucci, and is – ready for this? – considering multiple outfit changes.

“Everybody’s sending me stuff,” she tells W magazine in its March issue. “Gucci sent me this amazing package with all kinds of different designs and different fabrics, in a beautiful box with my name engraved in gold plate. I picked some fabrics … They’re making me something. Zac Posen made me a gorgeous tuxedo. Viktor & Rolf is making me something. … I wasn’t planning on changing because it’s just different suits, but I may do it, because I’d like to thank them all for making me stuff.”

Ellen is such a genuine person, and she is still SOOO funny~ She is really humble and very kind. She has the kind of figure that looks great in clothes (and)whatever she decides to wear…She’ll look great.. Her personality always shines through~

I must say, I am VERY curious about how she’ll look dressed up! Don’t get me wrong, I think Ellen is awesome, but some women just don’t look good in dresses and heels, and I think Ellen might be one of those types. She’s kinda like Whoopi Goldberg in the sense that she looks good in slacks. It suits her better. I hope I’m wrong and she looks hot!

She is such a survivor! And her show is hilarious! Awards shows are so much better when people who are actually funny host it, instead of unfunny people trying to hard to make everyone laugh. I think its a great idea for her to change outfits. Just beacause she doesnt do the whole “gown” thing doesnt mean she cant be glam! GO ELLEN!
