Ellen Degeneres Gets Glam For the Oscars

Oscar fans brace yourselves: Ellen DeGeneres just may pull a Beyoncé. The ultra-casual talk-show host will leave her khakis and sneakers at home Feb. 25 when she helms the Oscars, thanks to names like Gucci, and is – ready for this? – considering multiple outfit changes.

“Everybody’s sending me stuff,” she tells W magazine in its March issue. “Gucci sent me this amazing package with all kinds of different designs and different fabrics, in a beautiful box with my name engraved in gold plate. I picked some fabrics … They’re making me something. Zac Posen made me a gorgeous tuxedo. Viktor & Rolf is making me something. … I wasn’t planning on changing because it’s just different suits, but I may do it, because I’d like to thank them all for making me stuff.”

Do You Like Fergie Better Rocked Out Or Glam?

We used to really question Fergie’s style — too many braids, warm up suits, and plaid knickers — but she’s really come into her own recently. With all the major stars at the Super Bowl, you’d think it would be pretty hard to stand out from the pack, but Fergie did just that by keeping it rocker-cool during the day and getting totally glammed up at night. There are pluses for both looks (love the vintage tee, love the hot black pumps), but which look is really her? Tell us: Which look do you like for Fergie? Rocker cool or glamour girl?

Should Charlize Theron Go Back to Blonde?

Charlize Theron has been laying low these days, so when we saw her last week at the East of Havana screening in NYC, we were totally surprised by how different she looked. We tend to think of Charlize as a sunny blonde so it took us a minute to fully register her severely slicked back brunette hair and red lips. Clearly, she’s a beauty either way, but the looks are so different that we can’t resist comparing! Tell us: Should Charlize go back to blonde? Or do you like her new brunette locks?
