Shopping Alert: Proenza Schouler for Target

Since starting their label Proenza Schouler (a combination of their mother’s maiden names) in 2002, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have made their mark on the fashion industry with their signature stitched bustiers and celebrity clients like Demi Moore and Scarlett Johansson. And now they are making their mark on our closets with their brand-new collection for Target, part of the same Go! International initiative that brought us Paul & Joe and Behnaz Sarafpour. The Purple Bustier Dress, $40, looks like it stepped off their runway, as does the Wild Dove Stripe Jacket, $45. Even though they don’t usually do purses, the Canvas Trapunto bag, $25 is wildly chic, and would go perfectly with the Palm Print cardigan, $35. Click here to see the whole line at Target.com.

I’m Not a fan of my local target store everyone seems so angry there. But they do have some great clothes so i buy when i travel or on line i just avoid the angry people.

I didn’t even realize that people still wore Abercrombie, but then too, I graduated high school in 2001 so maybe it has come back into style like most bad trends do(it fell from grace about my junior year where I lived at the time).

Anyway, I personally love Target, I really wish we’d get one closer than we have now (about 45 minutes away). Unfortunately, in this area we are forced into Walmart for our discount needs :( Variety would be fantastic.

I love the palm print dress and weird enough, I like the yellow peek-a-boo pumps. I like the teal and dark blue color top in the second picture, but I don’t like that red. The purple skirt isn’t my thing, but love the black pumps. I have seen advertisments from Proenza Schouler, and some of the designs are cute.

Oh finally! Runway fashion that middle class people can afford! (And it’s cute too)

I do not believe this
