Predict-a-Gown: What Will Christina Wear to the Grammys?

02/02/2007 at 05:00 PM ET

Can we even remember the days that the now flawlessly turned out singer used to arrive to award shows in chaps and multi-colored extensions? We’re pretty confident that Christina Aguilera will stick to her now-signature platinum girls and sexy siren dresses for the Grammys next week. But which dress will it be? Roberto Cavalli has designed her tour costumes, so she could easily slip into this crystal encrusted showstopper from his spring collection. If she wants to go away from the white that she wore last year, she could opt for a shimmering black gown from Fendi. But what if for a real switch-up, she went short on the red carpet? She’d look flapper-fabulous in this fringed Zac Posen or glittering Behnaz Sarafpour. We’ll find out soon enough! Tell us: What do you think Christina should wear to the Grammys?

For all the award show gossip, check in with our Red Carpet Confidential blog.

i would love if she switched it up alittle with some marchesa, versace, or derek lam and carolina Herrara no matter what she will look amazing but get some color into ur wardrobe white is good sometimes but not all the time

None of them are suit for Chrstina! In case you haven’t noticed, she’s got the whole gorgeous glamour thing going on and those dresses would just throw off the whole style.

ROBERTI CAVALLARI sheath!!!! She can carry the length, the cut is dynamite on her and the silver/diamond texture will be the bomb with her hair and makeup! I admire Christina, she has grown into a true woman, and a successful artist.

I hope that Christina will wear something elegant so my vote is for designer Roberto Cavalli. She would look spectacular is any of his creations.

Hopefully none of those dresses. Although, if she had to pick – I’d guess she’d pick the Zac Posen dress – even though it’s not a new style for her. I’d like to see her look a little more modern. I think it’s cool how she’s embraced the 20′s-40′s era look, but I think it’d surprise everyone if she came with a style that was 2007.

She will clearly stick to the costume of choice for her this album, and that’s 40′s glam. She needs to be herself and not some albume to album theme she has no real style sense of her own?

She has been wearing a lot of the same looks to big award shows latley and ALWAYS has the same hair and makeup. I really hope she does something different but I highly doubt she will.

i hope she will wear a Monique Lhuiller gown!… i like the simplicity of her gowns and im sure that it will bring out the real beauty of Christina…

Personally, I think Christina will look absolutely gorgeous in whatever outfit she picks. I have yet to see her enter a red carpet event in something I didn’t like and wasn’t flattering to amazing figure. Even if she were to pick something that no one liked, you have to admit, her beauty makes up for everything!

I love the new “40′s glamour” look she’s been wearing. This picture shows her in the best dress. She needs to continue along these lines.
