I live in Hawaii and it humors me when tourists come that ‘tan’. You may tan where you are from but in HI you best put on sunblock. The sun is intense and sunblock is needed daily, beach or not.

Goes to show that money can’t buy common sense. With all of the sunscreens on the market and research connecting sun exposure to skin cancer, there’s no excuse for getting such a bad burn. Noxzema and Banana Boat’s Aloe gel (refrigerated) can help the sting and tightness. Next time he should wear 30 SPF and/or a shirt and hat.

If you look real close at Denise’s stomach in the first pic posted of the two of them(with Denise in another bikini) You can tell she’s had plastic surgery. That’s how she got fit so fast. I have a rocking body after two kids back to back but remember how funky Tera Reid’s stomach looked before she admittedly got it fixed? Same with Denise. Richie is loaded and is a really fun type of guy, besides being in a killer band that has won every accolade possible a band can have. They(Bon Jovi) travel the world in a private plane. You know, if your not fat before you get pregnant, and you breastfeed and don’t eat like a pig after, it’s actually the easeiest time in your life to get into shape, you have a 500 calories a day being burned with no effort (breastfeeding), so you know, I have three kids and I look just as good as her, my sister has five, she looks amazing too, little bit of upkeep and seriously, it’s not that hard. That sunburn isn’t good at all. I remember way back when, I got a sunburn just like that. He’s gonna be in pain and his body is gonna feel like fire. He’s gonna have a hard time sleeping too. I was miserable, because I couldn’t decide if I was hot or cold. Brains would tell you, when you go to the beach (especially lounging in water) or hang out in any sunny weather, to wear a good sunblock. Skin cancer is one of the #1 cancers today. I didn’t have a brain when I did that, but I was 13 yrs. old, and I never leave home without my sunblock since that happened to me along time ago.

First, we all KNOW IT’S BAD to get a sunburn. DUH!?!?!!!

I hope Denise Richards tried her best to get him to wear some sunblock..although I find that hope doubtful! Morons like Richie Rich, would rather get the burn than put on sunblock lotion, “what a girlie thing to do!”.

The only way to nurse a sunburn is by constantly applying AVEENO lotion and drinking TONS of water, moisture from the outside and inside. Living by the beach taught me that sun is more reflective and more intense so, it’s good to put on an extra strong sunblock.

Ol’ Richie Rich, should have known better!!! When you travel closer to the equator the sun rays become ALOT shorter and more direct, in other words more INTENSE, STRONGER, and HARMFUL! Hence, the reason why people who live on or near the equtor always have a beautiful tan….

The best advice is, before your tropical vaca, go to a tanning salon and get your skin adapted to the sun’s kissing rays and ALWAYS use SUNBLOCK!!!!

I dont know if anyone else has already said this, but shaving cream is really good. I got burnt really really bad once when I was a little girl and the doctors told me to go home and put some good quality shaving cream on the burns and let it sit over night. The emolients in it are supposed to be very good for that kind of thing… worked too!

Up here on the coast of Maine, we call people like that “LOBSTERS”. And, more likely than not, they are tourists.

I recommend Aloe Vera that has an Anesthetic in it, like Lanocaine. This will help the skin heal and sooth the surface pain.

Have to chime in: Heather left Richie because she suspected him of cheating, but not with Denise. Denise, the skank, went backstage after a concert and approached him. He was feeling shunned by Heather’s friends and jumped at the chance to reconnect and VIOLA! The skank got him. He IS a nice guy – and super talented. He’s in his mid-40s, folks. He hasn’t been looking as good as he usually does, but sometimes that’s life. He’ll bounce back, hopefully without Brownie at his side. She’s a skank and HEATHER deserves to be treated better. Denise seems to always be with her kids! This web site itself is always publishing pictures of her with her daughters. Lots of them are at the park or Christmas and birthday shopping, etc., but we see one vacation picture with no child in sight and we’re ready to call CPS! She always looks happy with them too. I went through and read all these comments, yes because right at this moment I have nothing better to do, and it cracked me up how much the “public” acts like we know the celebraties personally. We act as though their lives are available for us just to sit and judge. Frankly they probably don’t give two shakes what we think of their post-pregnancy bodies or middle-aged pot bellies. It’s also ridiculous to try to pass judgement on people that you know nothing about with the exception of “doctored” magazine articles/interviews/photos. The people commenting on her body should keep in mind that her youngest is 2 already (approx), that’s plenty of time to have gotten in shape after a normal pregnancy/delivery (c-section or not), without surgery. Just because you haven’t disciplined yourself enough doesn’t mean she hasn’t. Big deal if she did have surgery. If I had HER money I would have surgery too. It’s not like that’s the cardinal sin. Who cares if Richie Sambora has a pot bellie? My husband is by no means the next bo-flex model, but he loves me! that’s what matters. And, no, that doesn’t mean I must be fat and ugly…i don’t think I am. People have just gotten so superficial and judgemental. Get your own vacation pictures out! Are you and your mate Brad and Angelina? Probably not.

A picture is worth a thousand words, how many offeneces can be visible in one picture?
A lot of people work very hard to stay in shape and take care of themselves so that the medical system doesn’t have to pick up the pieces. My husband and I love working out, it’s so much fun. It’s definitely hard and I fully respect that some people are so busy caring for their families and dealing with the hardships of life that there is little time to work on their abs. Wealthy celebs, on the other hand, who can afford personal trainers have absolutely no excuse. If you can you stay in shape for; yourself, for your loved ones, out of respect for all the people who are sick through no fault of their own and to not clog up hospitals by clogging up your arteries.
It’s also important to respect the realities of the sun, there are enough people who just find out one day they have cancer, we don’t need idiots getting cancer because they can’t be bothered to put on sunscreen. If you have time to go to the beach you have time to protect your skin.
This man needs to grow up. And ya, it’s really annoying to see famous guys with women they could never get if they weren’t famous.

You criticized people for saying such”horrid” things yet you said some pretty HORRID things yourself. I don’t know if you read my whole comment. I think that appearance doesn’t matter very much but, taking care of yourself and being fit does. How many socially unattractive famous men have you seen with gorgeous women? TONS. Well now, how many socially unattractive women have you seen with gorgeous men. NONE. I think that says a lot. I was making a point about the double standard. A man like Donald Trump would not be caught dead with his physical equivalent; no he must have a Supermodel. Sure appearance doesn’t matter in love. But I guarantee that this double standard is not a coincidence and has nothing to do with the power of love. If I saw as many socially unattractive women with male models then I’d think ‘what a beautiful world we live in’ but no we live in a shallow, shallow world. I think social beauty, as I define it, is silly and unimportant and I am sick of pig men and their little playboy fantasy. Many men could care less about taking care of themselves but they’re woman she’s got to be perfect and flawless. It’s absolute bull. All I care about is being healthy.

I am also so sick of the constant ‘why don’t you show you’re picture’ comment that people use. I wrote about the importance of being responsible. I spoke about the need to protect your skin and stay fit. Being healthy is not about vanity (check my above comments), it’s about being proactive and thinking of others.

What does it matter what people look like we are all aloud to have an opinion and since my husband and I protect our skin, eat well and work out joyfully we have a right to comment on the importance of those things. My husband is an athlete with 13% body fat tall and gorgeous, but I dated many men that were not socially attractive before him. Looks were never a factor in finding my soul mate and in fact I was very weary of him because he was so handsome. I got to know my husband and fell for his wonderful personality. We are not cruel people. We are simply sick of seeing wealthy celebs not take care of themselves.

So what does it matter what I look like as long as I take care of myself and practice what I preach. Do you want to know my measurements? 34C-D(natural)23(waist)34(hips)and I’m told that I look like Catherine Zeta Jones. Is that important? I have no reason to be untruthful, we are what we are.
I will never post our pictures up for all the internet crazies to see, and I don’t see the point. We are not show offs. I have learnt my whole life how shallow people can be. I saw very clearly how differently people treated me when I was a gawky, skinny girl with glasses. I know very well how self absorbed and mindless people can be. How many people assume that a Barbie looking girl is a total bimbo? Do you think guys ask out such a girl to get to know her mind? I really don’t care what people look like. I have found happiness in my life by focusing on taking care of myself and others. What bother me are double standards and people taking their HEALTH FOR GRANTED!

I know a thing or two about losing your health through no fault of your own. So ya, it bothers me too see wealthy celebs not take care of themselves and put themselves at risk when so many people out there have no choice. So many people wear sunscreen everyday but they’ll still get cancer. Life doesn’t owe you anything and your appearance is just a shell. This selfish world is obsessed with appearance but does not care much about personal health.

EVERYBODY needs to take care of themselves so society does not have to clean up the mess! When I look at the world I see a big mess and very few people taking responsibility.

Doesn’t he know he can get skin cancer from being that red. I don’t burn, I just tan and I am canadian. Next time he should try some sunblock and some aloe lotion.

I have no idea how I stumbled onto this site.. I was actually googling bad sunburn because I was hoping to find an image of a female badly burned to post for a friend of mine since she refuses to wear sunscreen. I skimmned through the responses and wow, interesting but not in the way you would think one would be interested.

Anyway, don’t hate me, but I have no idea who these people are. That’s right, I do not watch TV and people are shocked when then ask me what I think of America Idol, or Survivor, or other popular shows, nor do I read celeb magazines. I have no opinion about them. I wouldn’t recognize these people if they rang my doorbell.

I have heard of Bon Jovi and am sure I would recognize some of their music but I could not name a song. Who she is I do not know, nor do I care, but am curious as to why a lot of you care so much? That is the question?

And even more curious, why did I write this? ha!
