Ouch! How Richie Can Ease That Sunburn

02/01/2007 at 05:28 PM ET

Just looking at Richie Sambora’s sunburn hurts us (it also hurts that Denise Richards looks that good in a bikini after two kids, but we digress). But his Hawaiian vacation doesn’t have to be spent in pain when there are so many great products on the market to ease a bad burn. Clarins After Sun Gel Ultra Soothing, $27, takes the heat out of a burn, and Crabtree & Evelyn After Sun Soothing Spray, $18, has aloe to reduce the sting and moisturize. And of course, if Richie wanted to avoid getting a burn in the first place, he should pick up some Jack Black Sun Guard SPF 30 and a swim-shirt from Coolibar, designed to block 98% of UV rays, $50.

She puts me to shame i’m a size 9 with no kids, how does she do it (personal trainer maybe)!! P.S. I would recommend some Aloe Vera for Richie, gosh he looks really red.

I don’t get it… Heather Locklear, Denise Richards… What’s he got that makes him so attractive???

isn’t that DANGEROUS?

I live in Hawaii and it humors me when tourists come that ‘tan’. You may tan where you are from but in HI you best put on sunblock. The sun is intense and sunblock is needed daily, beach or not.

Richie should suffer through and next time, use sunblock.

Can somebody please tell me how you get that bad without feeling your skin searing off and going inside??? I’ve never been burnt (no SPF in Acapulco–I just tan really well), but can’t people feel themselves burning before it gets THAT bad?

Hey Richie, at least you know Denise will nurse you back to health. Take care of him Denise … you two look great together and I wish you both lots of happiness

Goes to show that money can’t buy common sense. With all of the sunscreens on the market and research connecting sun exposure to skin cancer, there’s no excuse for getting such a bad burn. Noxzema and Banana Boat’s Aloe gel (refrigerated) can help the sting and tightness. Next time he should wear 30 SPF and/or a shirt and hat.

I’m positive that she’s had work done on her belly, butt, breasts post pregnancies, but anyway she looks great for two toddlers. How does she get back fit so fast?
