I must say I really do like them, they are very cute and in an acceptable price range. Not all of us long for rent priced shoes.
I’m just not sure I want to put my money towards helping crazy Joe Simpson get another $50,000 Rolex or watever his posessive, vicarious living and mooching off his daughters life requires next. I don’t know if I like the whole ‘turn myself into a brand’ thing that celbs are doing. Especially, when you can smell the involvement of the showbiz parents a mile away. They are nice and not too expensive. It’s a maybe for me.

I own 2 pairs of jessica simpson shoes, and they are both very cute albeit a bit uncomfortable! but then again i can’t imagine she’s any more comfortable in 4-inch Christian Louboutins, even though she paid $650 more!
In general, if you’re looking for cute trendy well-made but affordable footwear, jessica simpson shoes are worth a look.

Isn’t the objective of being a designer to be original. To me this is just another way for Jessica to make money without doing any of the work. The designers she is knockin’ off spend months coming up with the new designs for their shoe lines. They strive to bring something new, and original to shoppers. I would be SO ashamed if I was Jessica to know that I am taking credit and earning profit for copying someone elses work.

It’s also a bit of an insult that she sell her knock off shoes at the price she does, just because it has her name on it.
Save your money, and buy the shoes at stores like GO.JANE, and FOREVER21, ALDO, NINE WEST, even WALMART and PAYLESS, which all probably sell a version of the exact shoe for alot less. If for some reason you must have Jessica’s signature on your shoe, use a marker, and sign it yourself. (She’s a copy-cat, I’m sure she won’t mind if you’re one too.)

I agree with Charla about Jess’s Dad. How old are these girls and they still need daddy as a manager? Anyways, I couldn’t abid buying something that is twice my mortgage. My hubby and I have a young family to take care of and I wouldn’t even think of spending that much on shoes. (I couldn’t wear heals that high. I’d fall.) I’ll just stick to my cheap ol’ pair of comfy shoes.

Okay, I had to laugh about the Target and Payless shoe comments…

If you actually buy quailty footwear, you would realize that quaility is more comfortable, and less money in teh long run, because they last longer and are more durable. Shoes that are not leather lined will stink, and your foot will sweat more. They are nasty. I am not saying buy a $700.00 pair of shoes. I never would. But I don’t expect to get a decent pair of footwear for $24.95 at Target. There are certain things you should purchase with quaility in mind, mattresses, shampoo, conditioner and SHOES!

If you want a silly red shoe to wear a few times per year, sure get something stupid from Target. However, for shoes that you will wear to work or school and have on your feet for hours (your basic black pump, or flat)… sure $90.00 is reasonable. Jess’s shoes are all platform too, so they appear higher than they feel.

I love them.

I love Jessica, and was so excited to see her shoe line in stores, but I’m underwhelmed by the actual designs. The ones shown here are just ok… a little boring but not bad… but others have details that are just place wrong or in the wrong color/pattern. I’m just being picky, I know, but I only buy shoes I love. So far Jess’s haven’t found their way to my closet!

First of all, Jessica Simpson doesn’t design any of the shoes in the line. It’s actually not even her shoe line. She simply sold the rights to her name and the rights to use her as a means of endorsing the shoe line.

Secondly, I would much prefer buying a pair of Steve Maddens. Although Steve Maddens are all virtually knock-offs of designer shoes, they run around the same price of Jessica Simpson shoes but look and feel much better. I guess I just think they look a little more finished, and you can find almost every shoe that Jessica Simpson sells in a nicer version at Steve Madden. The whole originality argument is somewhat lame as well, because even shoes at payless and target are all knockoffs – there’s no such thing as an “original” design of shoe anymore unless you go to specialty boutiques or stores that hand-make shoes and don’t mind spending a month’s mortgage on a shoe.

Compared to $700.00 shoes these $79 pair are affordable but they are still pretty darn expensive.
I agree about manager Daddy, I do not get what that is about. I love my parents but I could never tolerate them being that involved in my life. Thankfully they wouldn’t want to be because they have their own lives.
Jessica’s Mom was quoted as saying that Jessica will not be in any relationships anytime soon (since the whole divorce) “because I’m still Mom” and she was putting her foot down. Whaaaat? I just think that kind of parental involvement is not healthy for anyone.
But it’s their lives. As for my life, I don’t think I want to help the Simpson Empire grow any bigger.

I love her shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes out there! I own 4 pairs in all different styles and colors. And for all of you who don’t think she wears her shoes, she does because everytime she goes onto a TV show they will ask her about what shes wearing and she will always say these are “my shoes”! Actually, Jessica does wear her shoes. Often. She has even worn them as wardrobe pieces in her upcoming movie Blonde Ambition (?) (I’m guessing that was the work of Joe). Technically, an item is not a “knockoff” or “faux” unless it is actually made to be passed off as made by the original designer. Jessica’s shoes are simply “similar” to some popular, high-end styles. The authors should be using better terminology; they made it sound like laws are being violated, and they are not. You can only do a black platform peep toe pump so many different ways, after all. I own several pairs of JS shoes, and I love them. The Cacee wedge is my absolute favorite. They’re durable, adorable, and they fit perfectly. Plus, they’re affordable! The average leather pump runs $60-$90, and most Jessica’s shoes fall within this range, so I wouldn’t call them opulent. They truly fit like high-end designer shoes. I’m not under the impression that Jessica locks herself away to fervently design them, though. I do like the designs and fit, and I plan to keep buying a style or two each season.

I just recently bought a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes and they are so sexy and cute….BUT…they are uncomfortable as hell. It seems like they tailored the shoes to fit exactly the shape of JESSICA’s foot. My arch is not supported and my ankles hurt like hell by the end of the day. Cute but not worth the pain.
