I watch Americas next top model every season. I see all of these tiny models that strut there stuff and think there so hot. Which yes they are beautiful but when i look at tyra i see a more confident and curvier women.And it brings hope to me. I know i can never be a size 4 and i dont want to be. I have always been a bigger girl and have been ashammed of my curves. but when i look at tyra who is not a twig but has curves and glows with confidence it gives me hope. Tyra is my biggest role model and i love watching her. Just to see how much confindence she has makes me think that even though i am bigger and curvier than all the gilrs in my school that i can still be beautiful. So thankyou tyra so much! and please never change beacuse of all the stereotypes in the world telling you your not skinny enough. You beautiful and an inspiration to me! Tahnks <3

I believe Tyra will be the perfect person to get the world to notice beauty comes in all sizes. Trya knows what its like to be skinny and what its like to be thick,she can relate on both sides. I bet that will be the best season ever. I really like her confidence,after a season like that, You’ll open up alot of people eyes.

Wouldn’t have stood up for plus size women if she didn’t gain that weight. She stood up for them, because her feelings was hurt.When I watch the Tyra Banks show she nothing nice. She want too know if other women shower or take a bath when they’re at home on there off day of work.Tyra Banks down fall her self on the show talking about how her breat sags and she has dimples in her butt. So I don’t blame nobody but Tyra.

for a Saggitarius girl, Tyra is only coming into her natural fulfillment of her birthright, which is to be kind of “hippy”, and very candid in her approach to the world in relation to herself as well as others. most “Sagg” gals that i know also have ample breast size. so the bottom line (no pun intended) is, so long as Ms. B is comfortable in her own skin then what right does anyone have to try to knock her down to their obvious level?

When I first watched America Next Top Model it is because of Tyra Banks. She has charisma and great credibility because she’s been there. I like Jay Emanuel but he is someking of plastic. Tyra’s true, you feel the honesty in her, you want to be friend with her. I just can’t imagine the show America Next Top Model without the presence of Tyra Banks. I watch a lot of fasion tv, I like those shows but the girls are so skinny… some are just pack of bones. I saw Tyra when she was modeling and I saw her today. She looks great the way she is now with the watsoever 30 pounds she gained. Everybody makes a fuss over her weight, but is that new weight not the weight she would normaly have. Feel sad about the standards of beauty that asked every women to be thin like a tooth pick. No wonder howcome so many women feel depress and have eating desorders. For society we have to be thin, so thin that our health is in danger. We dont ask that of men. I respect and admire Tyra Banks for who she is. Naomie Campbell is thin and sexy but I still prefer the intelligence and the integrity of Tyra Banks. Beauty has only the thickness of the skin and Tyra shows us that her inside is as beautiful as the outside. Tyra would weigh 200 pounds she would still be sexy and beautiful. She has a spark in her very beautiful eyes, she is a role model. She talk’s the talk and she walk’s the walk! I will always be a fan of you Tyra and I am very happy for you!

I think that what people are trying to tell her is to loose weight and that in order for her to be as admirable as before that she needs to be as thin as she was before. I also think that people are taking under consideration what she says about the models on ANTM, that little girls want to look up to someone who is beautiful and who has certain looks and has that star physique. But I think that even if a celebrity gains a couple of pounds that they should still be recognized for the effort that they have put into building up who they are today. when Tyra being the person that she is when she says that a model has to take the criticism some people would think that oh she can take it she’s a big girl but actually she’s been through it all before and there is no need for her to go through it all over again because she gained 30 lbs.

I first want to say that I admire Tyra for being comfortable with her body since she has gained weight. She seems so happy and confident and is standing up to cruel people. I myself have a huge problem with food. I have such a fear of becoming overweight. I am 5’4 and now weigh 114 up from 103 when I thought I looked my best. I have to admit I feel better with more weight on me but I hate the way my body looks right now. I am freaking out on what kind of diet I can go on to loose this ten popunds and how I need to work out! I wake up every morning and go to sleep every night thinking about how bad my body looks. I hate that I feel this way. I have two beautiful daughtgers and I do not want them to end up living like I have since I was fifteen years old starving or dieting evry single day. I hope that Tyra can reach out to younger girls so that this being skinny thing will go away but I am 47 years old and to this day I still have a problem. The magazines and TV make it look so beautiful if you are thin so I blame most of this on the media. Even me as a teenager I remember loking at these models and hanging pictures on my refridgerator so I would not eat. My husband saw the Tyra show just last night and he thought she looked sexy with the weight on her. He told me men like voluptious women. Of course he is probably right but it seems myself and many women feel the exact opposite. I know I would feel sexy if I could weigh 100! I do know that I have a problem with this and I have tried to get help., but deep down I dont want the help because I want to be so thin so I can wear the clothes I love! Great job Tyra you are beautiful and I am so glad that you can enjoy eating pancakes and not worry about it after.I love food but also hate food. Keep up the good work Tyra and help others realize that being thin does not make you beautiful please!!

i’m a 67-year-old grandmother who grew up on tv. my family will testify to it. love it! however, i d don’t remember when we got so mean! leave ms. banks and her hips alone. she iS a gorgeous woman whose every move further captures her audience. if you don’t like her hips, look at those gorgeous brown eyes. beautiful skin, devotion to her mother. she resembles my daughter, who is not 5’10 and never will be. i think especially janice dickinson is a menace who tried to have her own show and failed. give me a break. ignore them tyra. very proud of you!
