I’m definitely voting for the Elie Saab beauty. Cate shines in everything she wears, but she has an ethereal and other-worldly quality to her that calls for an equally other-worldly dress. I hope Cate chooses cool and modern over her usual old Hollywood glamour gems because she is at her best when she takes risks, in her career and with her fashion.

Cate is going to wear what Cate likes, and people are either going to love it or be on the fence. Even Cate’s choices that are “questionable” are still avant garde, couture styles. I happened to think she dresses properly for body type and skin tone and I appreciate her style. Some of the items she wears I wouldnt’ be caught dead in, and the seem to look right on her. Whatever she wears we will remember it for years to come.

Most of those dresses aren’t art deco enough for Cate, which is what I like about her. The Dior dress would most be along the lines of what she might pick but it would have to be changed a little so she could walk down the red carpet. I think she should go with red though. Anything she does will be fantastic

That Grey beaded silk gown would look great on her,and that yellow valentino dress she wore was a nice choice to. She has wore some interesting outfits, but I think she’ll make a good choice

I just love Cate Blanchett, great actress, great style. I think she’ll be in something like understated Versace (if there is such a thing) or Valentino, who in my opinion can do wrong. I think she would look both feminine and mordern in a piece of his line. PS whats with that funky model in the pic next to her??? Maybe it was a bad camera angle, but I just want to hand her a cupcake or meatball sub or something.

With all the questionable choices she’s made lately, she’s overdo for a stunning gown. She would stun in the Givenchy, unfortunately, this woman’s style pendulum swings so far to both extremes, something ridiculous like the Dior wouldn’t suprise me. I forgive all of her missteps, though, because when Cate gets it right, she is sublime!
