There are thicker and more controlling Spanx that are real girdles and they do run up to about $ 75. I have one of thesecalled the Spanx Hide and Sleek bodysmoother and that is $68. It's really amazing and I recommend it as a dress-up garment but not for everyday. Spanx aren't cheap. I hear that Target has a cheaper version of the Spanx line but I haven't tried them yet. I personally think the dress overwhelms her small frame. The colours look very nice with her skin tone but the dress is not flattering at the waist. I feel it wopuld would have looked better on curvy Halle Berry or super tall Nicole Kidman. Whereas other dresses would look best on Sienna Miller. It's not a bad thing or meant to come across as mean, it's just that certain outfits suit us better than others. I also wish her hair would have been a little more golden globes than sundance style, a litle fancier. But it's also in the eye of the beholder. So no offense intended. I've seen Spanx advertised, I'm sure they are a great product and a lot of hardworking women deserve to have something to help them feel extra good in their clothing but why oh why do some celebs need spanx when they have their own personal trainer???
