Sundance Must-Have: Neutral Knit Beanies

Besides supporting independent films, Sundance is not exactly your typical film festival. While starlets swan around Cannes and Venice in gorgeous gowns, actresses hit the streets of Park City, UT clad in fuzzy boots, tucked-in jeans, ski parkas — and this year, it seems there is one hat that everyone must have! Stars Keri Russell, Gretchen Mol, Kristen Bell, Sienna Miller and Famke Janssen have already been spotted in cozy beanies in neutral shades from oatmeal to gray. Now this is a trend we can get behind — wearable, weather-appropriate, and affordable! The only question that remains: What to do about hat-head?

I own one in green and I love it. It keeps my ears and head warm, and offers up a great way to deal with a bad hair day. Also, I’m pretty sure most people can wear this style and it looks adorable.

I am so tired with people saying that the stars are the one that start these trends when ladies have been wearing them for years. I have pics of my mother wearing them and my aunts but when stars wear them, they seem to be “in”. Oh Please give me a break and give credit where credit is due, to females all over the world who start their own trends.

Cynthia you are so right, I get tired of the same news when it comes to fashion and celebrities. Real women start their own trends without spending millions of dollars for one over priced item, most women can make these hats themselves or buy it from walmart!
