Will Katie Teach Posh How To Be a California Girl?

Can the ultra-European Posh transfrom her trademark style to fit into L.A.? Her impeccably put together outfits of tailored dresses and sky high heels will hardly help the Brit blend into her new surroundings when she moves to California later this year. She already seems a bit out of place at the casual Ivy restaurant — but what if Katie Holmes, the picture of all-American elegance, helps Posh get her bearings just as the fashionista helped the young mom get glam before her wedding last year? We know that Katie is a shopping pro and could help Posh acclimate to SoCal, while avoiding the L.A. stereotypes (but don’t you kind of want to see Posh in a pink sweatsuit and Uggs?). The way VB dresses for LA paparazzi is not what she wears the rest of the year. Check any British site she’s on and you’ll see her with trademark jeans, t-shirt and baseball cap. OK it’s often with heels but hey – she’s not that tall! Anyway why shouldn’t she dress up – I can’t believe how many girls I saw wearing velour pants and Uggs today. If I had her body I wouldn’t be hiding it away either.

In regards to Posh Spice’s noice maybe having her nostrils turned out like Miss Piggy help’s her smell better, as for smiling she probably can’t her face is to tight from all the Botox she’s had. This woman needs to loosen up and stop looking like she’s wearing wrapping paper with big bows.

Posh doesn’t need to change her style for anyone or country,I do think she needs to make more eye contact and smile,but some people don’t because of deep down their shy,insecure,or hurting no one really knows…..As for Katie being from Ohio doesn’t have anything to do with if you have fashion sense or not! I do like the comment Becky said no one really cared about Katie Holmes until she married that crazy ass Tom Cruise!

American’s are generally boring when it comes to raw style. I love Victoria because she has an edge- if she were to become just another California girl, I would lose a lot of respect for her.

It is notable that there are fashion nuances from region to region. People get easily offended by generalization which is understandable. It’s true that you can’t genralize about style in Europe. Fashion differs from country to country throughout the entire continent. It also happens to differ from person to person all over the world. The notion that anyone should conform due to their geographic location is quite silly. I like that Posh often dresses elegantly. Although I do not respect her lavish lifestyle, I seperate the two.
In any case the problem is conformity, no one should ever be expected to conform. I hope she doesn’t. On a side note,I mean this without offense and I honestly hope I am wrong, I like to see marriages succeed, but I have a feeling Hollywood will be the end of Posh and Bucks. It just seems to be the Disney World of DYSFUNCTION!
