Will Katie Teach Posh How To Be a California Girl?

Can the ultra-European Posh transfrom her trademark style to fit into L.A.? Her impeccably put together outfits of tailored dresses and sky high heels will hardly help the Brit blend into her new surroundings when she moves to California later this year. She already seems a bit out of place at the casual Ivy restaurant — but what if Katie Holmes, the picture of all-American elegance, helps Posh get her bearings just as the fashionista helped the young mom get glam before her wedding last year? We know that Katie is a shopping pro and could help Posh acclimate to SoCal, while avoiding the L.A. stereotypes (but don’t you kind of want to see Posh in a pink sweatsuit and Uggs?). Tell us: Do you think Posh will change her wardrobe to fit into L.A.? Are you excited to see more of Posh?

Daisy

As long as she doesn’t start dressing anything like Britney or Paris Hilton, the world will be an OK place.

I really don’t understand the appeal about Victoria Beckham and her so called ‘fashion sense’. She constantly looks like she’s constipated. Not a good look.

Lauren

I agree with Romona. Victoria always looks so sour. She always has. Maybe California will loosen her up a bit (although I doubt it – it seems to be her style).

As for her clothes, she dresses far to conservatively and although her outfits are probably very expensive she could stand to try something a little less over-the-top to go shopping and save the glam for the evening.

I’ve been keeping track of victoria’s fashion stlyle for a long time now and it’s not unusual for her to change her style every once in a while!she had her dolce $ gabanna period,a roberto cavalli perod, she also wore jeans with cool baseball caps, baggy pants, little skirts and shorts…i guess that now she’s in the mood for something more serious.i personally liked her “jeans paired with sexy heels and cute trendy tops, sunglasses and handbags”look and maybe she’ll go back to a more relaxed style.but you have to give it to her,she sure knows her fashion!!!not like some other american so-called well dressed celebs!

Elda

Katie seems like a sweet friend to hang out with, I’m pretty sure Posh is in good hands.

Dawn

Personally before i take fashion advice from victoria i would like her to eat some real food first. I do not find a woman of her body type a good role model for any woman. I know she says she eats healthy and she doesn’t diet. Self starving is not stylish.

Ash

She should not conform to “California” Style… She is an impeccable dresser and if I was to see her in sweats and uggs then I might go nuts. She is one of the leading fashion icons in the world and I hope that she does not start looking like Katie Holmes…

I generally try to keep my comments positive, but honestly, I think Victoria looks like a clown much of the time and she isn’t very attractive at all. It’s no wonder that her man is always out cheating…moving to LA is just all new woman for him.

Milli

Oh No! Posh should not change a thing. She has such a great sense of style. I enjoy looking at her pictures. Her fashion is unique.Katie on the other hand looks like a mess.
I do not understand the fascination of Americans with gym clothing. Sweatpants belong in gym, its not casual outfit.People are still wearing uggs in LA? Aren’t they like so 3 years ago?
I don’t think Europeans need to learn fashion from LA bimbos. All the fashion icons Americans worship, Audry Hepburn, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Penelope Cruz are all Europeans.
Posh does not need to blend in. She is a fashion icon and she is supposed to stand out.

Alice

Posh is just creepy looking now, I don’t find her the least bit attractive.
I like Katie’s style, it simple and classic.
