You Asked, We Found: Reese Witherspoon's Golden Globe Shoes

Jan/17/2007 at 05:00 PM ET

Who made Reese Witherspoon’s sweet red shoes? -Sarah

Reese Witherspoon lit up the Golden Globes in her bright yellow Nina Ricci dress, razor-sharp haircut and some fabulous red heels. The shoes in question are Brian Atwood‘s Dorian sandal in red. Lucky for us, they aren’t one-of-a-kinds and can be bought at Neiman Marcus stores near you for $645 in red or black. Neiman’s is selling quickly, so for more sizes check out Hu’s Shoes in Washington D.C (order by calling 202-342-0202).

You’ll find more Golden Globe coverage in our Red Carpet Confidential blog.

Fashion Faceoff: Jessica Biel vs. Hilary Swank

Jan/17/2007 at 03:15 PM ET

Jessica Biel was one of the red carpet standouts at the Golden Globes on Monday night in a glimmering beaded Valentino dress and intricate Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings — too bad that Hilary Swank also looked glam in the same “vintage” dress just 3 years ago at the 2004 Vanity Fair Oscars party. Did she not note Reese Witherspoon‘s Chanel dress mix-up from last year’s Globes? As for Valentino, reps for the house say “Valentino dresses are timeless and each woman brings to them her own interpretation. . .two beautiful actresses can be different and great even in the same dress.” Tell us: who do you think wears the dress better? Would you wear a dress knowing someone had worn it to a high-profile event before?

Will Katie Teach Posh How To Be a California Girl?

Jan/17/2007 at 02:00 PM ET

Can the ultra-European Posh transfrom her trademark style to fit into L.A.? Her impeccably put together outfits of tailored dresses and sky high heels will hardly help the Brit blend into her new surroundings when she moves to California later this year. She already seems a bit out of place at the casual Ivy restaurant — but what if Katie Holmes, the picture of all-American elegance, helps Posh get her bearings just as the fashionista helped the young mom get glam before her wedding last year? We know that Katie is a shopping pro and could help Posh acclimate to SoCal, while avoiding the L.A. stereotypes (but don’t you kind of want to see Posh in a pink sweatsuit and Uggs?). Tell us: Do you think Posh will change her wardrobe to fit into L.A.? Are you excited to see more of Posh?

What's The One Beauty Product You Won't Leave Home Without?

Jan/17/2007 at 06:00 AM ET

While Halle and Kelly may feel comfortable leaving their homes with totally bare faces, most of us aren’t quite brave enough. For some women, it’s under-eye concealor while for others, they depend on their lip gloss — but most of us have one beauty product that we wouldn’t dream of leaving the house without. We know Nicole Richie really loves her Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir, but tell us: What is your can’t-leave-home-without-it beauty product? What do you have to put on every day before you face the world?
