Jennifer Hudson: What I am Wearing to the Golden Globes

Not only is Jennifer Hudson nominated for multiple awards for her first role in a movie (as Effie in Dreamgirls), but she is already working the red carpet like a pro. Dressed in a satin Prada dress at the National Board of Review gala, she admitted that she hasn’t picked out her Golden Globes gown yet but “we’re working on it. But it’ll be sexy!” She says that she picks dresses for events based on “whatever feels good. Whatever jumps out at me. I’m always looking for classiness and something that [complements] my figure.” And how does she feel about being normal-sized? “I celebrate it,” she said. “I am unique around here. Everyone else looks the same!” No doubt, she is a red-carpet standout for all the right reasons.

I am a big fan of Jennifer Hudson. She is so talented, classy, and beautiful! If she doesn’t win a Golden Globe for her amazing performance in Dreamgirls, there is absolutely NO justice in the world! That dress she is wearing in the picture looks really good on her. I’m looking forward to seeing her in something equally flattering at the Golden Globes!

I really admire you! Dont get me wrong, I love Beyonce’ but the script you had in Dreamgirls displayed what you really have to offer as an actress as well as a singer and you were the BEST! I am really happy for you! being straight up…u just got it girl!

I haven’t seen Dreamgirls and I don’t watch AI, so I can really comment on her personality or talent. But I will say this: satin is SUCH an unforgiving fabric, even on tiny women, but Jennifer is rockin her Prada. I’m so happy to see her wearing this dress instead of letting it wear her! That’s a skill on its own!

Jennifer looks good in her Prada dress. It does compliment her figure being that she is a little big. Which there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone does pretty much look the same on the red carpet. They are all skinny!! Nothing wrong with being skinny either as long as you aren’t rail thin! You go Jenny!

Yes. Jennifer Hudson finally got a stylist. I have to see her “in action” before I make a comment about her and Dreamgirls. Did not care at all for her attitude during AI. But, that girl has got talent…my she can sing!
