Kate Middleton’s Birthday Dress from Topshop

Kate Middleton has been shopping on the high street again and everyone (including us) loves it! Prince William’s girlfriend, who turned 25 this week, was snapped on Tuesday morning as she left her house for work (at retail chain Jigsaw) in a black and white retro tunic dress from Topshop, £40 (or $78). The accessories buyer put her skills to use by teaming with a classic black blazer, opaque tights and suede knee high boots… and voila, the dress instantly becomes less sixties swing and more princess chic. After the photos surfaced in the British press, the dress sold out completely from Topshop, and it’s already turning up on Ebay!

Stacey

I think that both she and the dress are adorable…

I guess because she chose to wear a blazer that makes the dress look a little better. But overall this is not a good choice of fabric.

I was burnt when I was younger and have scars from it. I love dresses that cover a little, and I can afford this one!!! :) Yippee!

j

cute

Lisa

Anything she wears is adorable.

Personally, I don’t really like the dress.

Kristen

Not even a Blazor with sun glasses and a hat could make that dress an okay fashion statement.

Kristin

cute look- she looks good.

Melanie

The dress looks so horrible in the sample picture, but on Kate it looks adorable. I can even imagine it looking cute without the blazer. Weird. If I saw this on a hanger in a store, I would probably completely write it off.
