My Hair Secret Weapon: Terax

I can accept that my body is never going to look like Kate Beckinsale’s or Demi Moore’s, but at least I have a shot at hair like theirs. I have become obsessed with Terax, a European cult favorite that is best known for the Crema conditioner which both Beckinsale and Moore swear by. And for good reason! My hair is softer and shinier than I can remember it being in years (and I swear it cuts down on my blow-drying time). I can’t get enough of the Latte shampoo, which takes off the gunky residue that my styling products have left on my hair and smells like the most amazing coffee dessert ever. If your hair is oily, try the minty Bosco, or for a light leave-in conditioner, try the Life Drops. The added bonus of all the formulas? The recently re-designed bottles are totally adorable, too. — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

Everyone, you can buy it at beauty.com. I missed the link the first time too. It’s $22.00. A bit much for me. I’ve been using Dove’s Silk and Smooth. It’s $6.95 up here in Canada.

It is available in Canada at http://www.fabaocanada.com

I’m the first one to love beauty products. But with all the money we just spent on Christmas, fancy hair products are not an option! And who really needs them once you read my beauty secret? Here’s what you do, wash your hair, spitz in some leave in conditioner, then do a wrap with bobbie pins! Us puerto ricans (and domincans) call it a “doobie”! Perfect for when you are to lazy to blow dry (or just can’t do it well)! My college roomate loved it! She was Pakistani and never heard of it! If it works for the “kinkeros” that girls of color sometimes have, it will work for caucasian girls too! Try it once, you’ll never blow dry again!

Thanks, V.
