Spokesmodel Alert: Rihanna is the Newest Cover Girl

Teen singing sensation Rihanna (shown here at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Dec. 11th) is set to join the ranks of Christie Brinkley, Tyra Banks, Niki Taylor, Molly Sims, Queen Latifah, Faith Hill and Brandy as the new face for Cover Girl. This month she will begin shooting her campaign that is set to drop in summer 2007 — just in time for her third albumn’s launch. Rihanna, who grew up in the Barbados, said, “I’ve loved makeup and dreamed of being a CoverGirl since I was a little girl.” Daughter of a makeup artist the singer was always fasicinated watching her mother apply lipcolor, blush and mascara. Congratulations Rihanna, I beleive All Bajans should be proud to call you our own. Arlene, have u noticed that Rihanna is a black woman and we (blacks) don’t have thin straight noses (tho I really don’t see the ‘too wide’ nose that you are concerned about). Babes show me 20 more persons with the same opinion as you who had a personal encounter with Rihanna during her last or any visit here, one person’s opinion does not count as fact or consensus y is it that we take pleasure in pulling people down rather than building them up. how many people have you been ‘a pig’ to over the last week.

I’m proud of Rihanna and her accomplishments and I hope and pray that many of our other talented Caribbean brothers and sisters will get the opportunity to do what she is doing, to show the world what we have to offer. We may be ‘third world’ but we are first class.

I am not the one who said that rihanna was a pig in the first place, it’s someone from her home town. If it’s an apology you’re looking for then I apologize,and as for her nose, read the rest of the comments, people said that she was ugly, I think you need to direct your anger to the person who said that she was a pig in the first place.

anyway I really don’t care about anyone’s inperfections there’s too much going on in the rest of the world for instance I was reading on the newspapers that a family had to remove tissues from a nine year old girl and inject her with hormones to halt her growth just to be able to take care of her,if rihanna’s nose is wide who cares it’s just a comment the fact is she’s making money and she’s healthy.
