Mariah-Oh-Meter: Rate Her Casual Look!

We’re so used to seeing Mariah Carey in full-on glam mode — big hair, little dresses — that we almost didn’t recognize her on a recent shopping excursion to Dior in Beverly Hills. The singer looks casual and trendy in her wedge boots, skinny dark jeans, and striped henley top. But it is still Mariah — don’t forget the sleek high ponytail, oversize shades, and some major diamonds. On a scale of One being Congresswoman conservative, and Ten being ready for her video vixen close-up, we’d give this look a 4. It’s the most covered-up that we’ve seen this diva in a long time. I think she looks good, but would look better if she lost the glasses. Oh, and with her hair down, that would look better too! But I like this look much more than her normal one anyway!

hah, hasn’t anyone ever noticed that when Mariah Carey goes out of the spotligh, she gets “fat”…self proclaimed fat, and then whenever she releases a new album she gets as skinny as she can so she can flaunt it off asap. So she’s probably feeling a little fat right now…and perhaps a little chilly?

I think that she looks great here. She looks classy! The only thing I would change are the boots. Maybe some charcoal paddington boots like Jessica Simpson.
