Britney Goes Brunette: Does It Work?

We just can’t keep up: We’ve barely finished breathlessly recounting the details of Britney Spears’ post-divorce makeover, when she — oops! — did it again. The newly single pop star stepped out Dec. 8 in L.A. with newly dark hair, continuing her follicular ping-ponging over the past few months. No word on whether her stylist Rita Hazan — who was responsible for Brit’s short-lived blonde bob — engineered this makeover as well. What’s your take: Do you like Britney better blonde or brunette?

good grief, she’ll be needing a wig soon when her overprocessed hair falls out! BUT she looks better with darker hair. she looks trashy and cheap as a blond.

Nobody cares what she does anymore. It’s obvious she isnt anyone’s role model, or will ever be again. Maybe if she stepped up to the plate and acted like a responsible mother…

I like the dark hair. Most of the time I don’t see what people find so attractive about her until she goes brunette. Then it’s, “WOW!! Now I get it.”

Maybe she thought if she dyed her hair, we’d forget all about her trashy, self-depricating, pantiless partying she did with the disgusting Paris Hilton. I didn’t and I think that she always dyes it too dark. She goes for almost black, I think she would look good with an ash/light brown color. I really don’t care what her hair color is, or what she is wearing though, the only thing that comes to mind when someone mentions ‘Britney Spears’ is that she has abandonded her children. Its just impossible that she is taking care of them when I see her on People everyday at a club, or on E News, or some equally lame gossip show (that I admit, I love to watch!)smoking, drinking, holding hands with different men.. Its unbelievable, but she is making Kevin look like parent-of-the-year…

I think she looks better as a brunette, but not quite so dark. I agree that cleaning up and styling would be nice. She really is so pretty, it would be nice to see her act like a grownup. Nice clothes, nice hair, pulled together.
