Britney Goes Brunette: Does It Work?

We just can’t keep up: We’ve barely finished breathlessly recounting the details of Britney Spears’ post-divorce makeover, when she — oops! — did it again. The newly single pop star stepped out Dec. 8 in L.A. with newly dark hair, continuing her follicular ping-ponging over the past few months. No word on whether her stylist Rita Hazan — who was responsible for Brit’s short-lived blonde bob — engineered this makeover as well. What’s your take: Do you like Britney better blonde or brunette?

I like the blonde a little better, but the brown is cute. She does need to clean up a bit though, her hair no matter what color always look unbrushed and dirty….

I personally think that Britney should worry less about her hair color and more about her sons. I read a quote that said, “Britney is always home before sunrise and when her boys wake up, she is there!” Are we supposed to believe that these two babies sleep through the night? Britney might be “there”, but she is no doubt tired and maybe even hung over from her nights on the town. What kind of a mom is that?

Her hair doesn’t look bad as a brunette, but it looks MUCH better blonde.

I think she looks decent either way, but if she’s going to go dark…maybe not this dark. It makes her look goth.

She was born a brunette and has the coloring for it. It makes her eyes really stand out.

She looks marginally less trailer trashy, which is a nice bonus.
