Gifts for Everyone: Colorful Dog Collars

Want to make your dog stand out in a crowd? For those of us who take our pups to dog runs, it’s not just a style statement, it’s the best way to track them in the pack! These bright, colorful Sailors Knot collars, $38 (and matching leashes, $42) from Mascot fit the bill — and could the bone-shaped buckle be cuter? And if you aren’t just gifting your own pooch, consider adding in one of their Varsity sweaters, $60, for a complete and coordinated gift for the dog-lover in your life.

My dog and my incrediblly adorable grand-dog are at the top of my list this year! I plan to immediately check these out as I still haven’t found the ideal doggie gift (though, believe me, I’ve tried)!

Very cute, but my dog is really small, so I’m not sure the collars would fit him…

I love when this site posts about doggie gifts! These are especially cute, and also look sturdy enough that they’ll last a long time (and won’t break at an inconvenient moment!).

looks too uncomfortable.

Mascot stuff is amazing! I have this exact collar for my dog which is a Lab and he loves it! They have leads that match as well. They have other kinds of collars that are good for small dogs. Check out their website!

hmmm… I just can’t picture these on my big Rottweiller named Harley… he’s so cute!!! I mean big and tough, yeah, that is what I meant.

I feel so trendy knowing that my favorite doggie brand is featured in People. My dogs and I fell in love with Mascot earlier this year when we discovered them in a cute show in Nantucket.

For those of you above who are skeptical, don’t be. I have a German Shepherd and a toy poodle and they are both very comfortable in their Mascot collars and leads. I get compliments in the dog park all the time.

And Kristin, for your Rottweiler, you should check out their leather products – much more appropriate for the big guys!!

Finally!! I have been a fan of Mascot for some time. They make the BEST gifts for doggie lovers.

Wow – last time I saw Mascot I was on Nantucket for a wedding. I bought 2 collars for my golden retrievers and I always get stopped in the dog park. Interestingly, I gave collar to a friend of mine who has a Min Pin and Dromio looks adorable. Unlike other trendy dog stuff – this really seeems to work on all sizes. Is Mascot in stores in NYC?

I have checked out the site and they really have some great stuff. The prices are a little higher, but the quality looks great. Which is good, because I am tired of buying collars and leads that fall apart after one winter.
