Wanna Smell Like Gwen Stefani? Her Perfume Is On Its Way!

It’s the moment so many Harajuku Lovers have waited for: Gwen Stefani announced today that the first perfume in her L.A.M.B. line will debut next fall. Gwen said the as-yet-unnamed fragrance, marketed by Coty Inc., the brand behind Lopez’s perfumes and Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely, will be “classic and timeless,” and you can bet she means classic Gwen. “I am creating it for myself,” she said. “It’s like me shrunken into a box.” The collaboration was kept top secret until today’s announcement at Manhattan’s trendy Hotel Gansevoort. Reporters were told only that an “international style superstar” was behind the scent, and they couldn’t stop guessing who it might be. Madonna? Lindsay Lohan? Eva Longoria? But Gwen was definitely a popular choice. As an internationally adored clothing designer and pop star, it’s surprising that this is Gwen’s first foray into beauty, but she promised it’s not her last. “I’m already excited about the next one,” she says.

It-Bag Alert: Fendi Spy Bag Gets Winterized!

Last week, Holly Robinson Peete gathered family and friends for an evening of holiday shopping to benefit the HollyRod Foundation for Parkinson’s research at the Beverly Hills Fendi boutique. Though there was lots of action around the shoe department and the watches were getting serious attention, it was the newest version of the Spy bag, made in conjunction with ultra-chic skiwear line Moncler, that was the hit of the night. Made of bright-red parachute material, the Fendi Moncler Spy Bag is a casual version of the city bag, perfect for ski holidays and urban retreats. Both Natalie Cole and Melissa Rivers had their eye on the $2100 purse during Robinson Peete’s bash, but lucky Ashlee Simpson got it weeks ago. Her big sister, Jessica, bought it for her birthday in October. Click here to get your own at Barneys in black, red or green, but move fast — they are limited edition, after all!

Britney and Gwen Work The Necktie Look — Will You?

Women wearing neckties comes back in style every few years — Diane Keaton in Annie Hall, Shannen Doherty in Beverly Hills 90210 — and that time seems to have come once again. Britney Spears broke out her tie (and her all satin-outfit) while clubbing with new BFF Paris Hilton in Las Vegas, while Gwen Stefani wore hers to a promotional event for her new record in Canada. We’ve also spotted Janet Jackson, Fergie and Jennifer Love Hewitt rocking ties lately, too. Tell us: Will you wear ties? Do you think they’re sophisticated or silly?
