Get the Look: James Bond’s Bathing Trunks

For male James Bond fans, Daniel Craig’s homage to Ursula Andress’s infamous bikini scene may have been a little disappointing (especially in comparison to Halle Berry’s take), but not so for his female fans! In fact, ladies have been quick to snap up Craig’s snug swim trunks for the Bonds in their lives. Part of the Grigio Perla men’s range of celeb-favorite Italian brand La Perla, the trunks have proved to be so popular that UK department store Selfridges’ quickly sold out the coveted item shortly after Casino Royale’s release. Roger Moore was the worst Bond (Moonraker? Seriously.)
It probably would have been Timothy Dalton but, mercifully, they didn’t keep him around long enough.

Daniel Craig rocks as Bond. If you want feminine, look no further than Pierce Brosnan’s dainty turn (enjoyable, sure, but not tough). Bond’s a character who got his designation (007) by *killing* people for Her Majesty – it’s about time they gave him a little edge.

The shorts should come with a warning not to attempt unless you look like Daniel Craig.

Craig makes a great Bond! And it really has nothing to do with the apparel or physique either (though both are far from bad!). If you see the movie, rather than just commercials, there’s no doubt he is a good choice for the role–especially in this movie. He’s more rough-around-the-edges killer than suave “ladies man,” but it definitely works for him. This is a Bond who takes his work seriously.

Based on looks alone–he’s not bad, and facially, he does look much older, although his body is certainly better than any Bond before him. But as an actor in the role, he is the package deal, and certainly the Bond Fleming had in mind.
