Lindsay Turns Anti-Fur: What’s Your Take on The Fur Debate?

No stranger to wearing fur, Lindsay Lohan was about to be named to PETA’s upcoming worst-dressed list. But a PETA spokesperon tells us that the actress seems to have had a change of heart after seeing the organization’s anti-fur window displays at Topshop in London. During her whirlwind week there — which included the Casino Royale after party and hosting the World Music Awards — she was seen wearing a white fake fur jacket and an anti-fur button on her hat. While PETA tells us that Paris Hilton and other celebs have sworn off fur, Jennifer Lopez and other stars have recently been spotted in fur-trimmed jackets. Tell us: Where do you stand on the fur debate? Would you wear it?

I would not wear fur and I don’t think others should. Faux fur is just as good as real fur and no one has to die and suffer for it. Finally, Ms. Lohan is doing SOMETHING right.

I’ve never been a fan of fur wearing. Especially when I found out it takes 200 of sweet cuddley Chinchillas to make one fure coat. I am a vegetarian and I always will be.

Eurgh.
personally, I can’t get ober the fact that people like to wear fur, or even touch it for that matter ( unless when you’re touching it the creature is ALIVE )
It’s like wearing someone elses skin.

well, from a vegan point of view, fur is completely off limits. i would like to think that even the most lax vegetarian (maybe eats seafood, most dairy products, etc.) would take a strong stance against the use of animal fur in clothing. do animals wear our skin? didn’t think so.

NEVER EVER WOULD I WEAR FUR . torturing animals , killing them for their skin …its sick animals are alive and have feelings , they have hearts and are quite intelligent .They dont deserve to be killed for their meat or skin . it disgusts me that people wear fur ugh !

I don’t wear fur personally. I don’t see anything wrong with it. That is what animals are put here for. Trust me I am an animal lover but they are put here for food and clothing.
