But of course I would and DO!!!!! My husband bought me a mink coat for Christmas last year, I got to wear it for the first time this year today! It’s the warmest coat I have ever owned.

I would never wear fur- and I think people who do (like J LO) are sadly uneducated and selfish. By the way, people, don’t take comfort from thinking that leather is a necessary byproduct of meat production in this country. If you wear leather, especially cheap leather, it probably came from a dog in a leather mill in China. Please, there are so many choices, make compassionate ones!

I personally would never ever wear fur, and I know that I am not alone. Recently the EU (European Union) agreed to boycott the Canadian Seafood industry because of the annual seal hunt in Canada. Until you see how they treat those poor helpless baby seals for a stupid coat you might wear a couple of times a year you have no clue what is going on. I suggest you take a look at the Humane Society’s website (www.hsus.org) and judge for yourself. If you can honestly look at this and still want to wear your coat then there is something wrong with you. Remember animals have feelings too. They can feel pain and have emotions, and we should treat them as such. Don’t be stupid to think you look cool when in reality you only look cruel.

J.Lo is whom we call the vainest person on earth. She shops till she drops and will do ANYTHING for whatever amount JUST to get what she wants, for her to look good and feed her hunger for being VAIN… SHE DOES NOT HAVE A SOUL … she is a very sinful human being. She should go to Africa for a week and see that there are people who only wears the same clothes everyday, torned….

We are a civilized society and GOD gave us the gift to create clothes that keep us warm in the winter even without using fur. And during the time of ADAM and EVE they only have to kill 2 animals to cloth themselves, and eat the meat to keep them alive. At that time, that was the only way to survive.

So to those who are making excuses about ADAM and EVE, please think before you post anything…GOD is watching you!!!

Lindsay is probably doing this to extend her 15 minutes of fame. I completely agree with Mary and Misty.. Kesia.. evolution, we are all animals and created equal?? Please!! God put the animals here so we could use them.. not so we could sit around thinking that we somehow evolved from apes..

I think its great when a big celebrity like Lindsay does something like that because alot of people look up to her and i’m one of them!! I’m an animal lover and i look up to celebrities who send a good example. Go Lindsay!!!!!

I think wearing fur is one of the most awful things a person can consciously do. If I see a celeb wearing fur, I lose all respect for them. I discontinue subscriptions to fashion mags who use it in their photos. How anyone can live in our world today and not only condone such barbaric practices but actually support them is beyond my comprehension. People who don’t think it’s 100% wrong and incredibly cruel really need to educate themselves, because they’re obviously ignorant. Or maybe they just really are that cold hearted!

While I think fur coats are stunning and beautiful, I will never wear one. I had to dissect a mink in high school and never got over it–gave me a major hangup about draping myself in little animal bodies.

Really wearing fur is everybodies choice as an american. You know how they have kosher ways of preparing meals and food? the animals dont suffer at all before they are killed, well wouldnt it be nice if instead of the animals getting electricuted anally or whatever to get their fur, if they could find a kosher way to do it, then maybe everyone would stop whining about it. I know its still wrong to kill an innocent animal just for fur, but people are going to do it anyway, so atleast if they could do it in a non-violent way.
