I swear by Lancome for my clear skin. Their Pure Focus cleanser & toner are great for getting rid of breakouts & they make the matching moisturizer but I prefer their more hydrating Primordiale day & night creams - you'll never beat that night cream for actually clearing up breakouts! I think it's the combo of Provitamin A, C, & E in it - all I know is it clears & evens out my skin like nothing else! If I get a once a month blemish due to hormones, I find that Murad's Acne Spot Treatment takes care of it right away. I get compliments on my skin all the time & am told I look about 10 yrs younger than I am (I'm 36) so I highly recommend these products!

My secret skin care weapon is the Murad Acne Complex Kit - that stuff is amazing! It has kept my skin clear and free of blemishes for a couple of years now.
well, i have acne prone skin but it definetely gets dry with too much of topical products. during the winter, i found that drinking a lot of water really works. suggested healthy amount is 6-8 glasses. i used to drink about 3-4 a day . now i drink 6-7 and my skin is much better. also, after trying proactiv religously i found that it was completely drying and flaking my skin as well as making it bright red. now i use st. ives apricot scrub every day and i gently rinse it off. i am using the regular type, not the acne-prone skin type w/ salicylic acid. and then i use the proactiv lotion to prevent breakouts. don't use this lotion in areas that you know you don't breakout. lastly every night i use a soothing moisturizing non-oily lotion. im sure a lot of things would work here. i use proactiv oil-free moisture (it is just moisture - no topical ) ..anyway, this is my new skin routine that works.

I am 24 with fair acne prone skin. I live in Mississippi and the humid climate irritates my skin. I have a bad problem with blackheads on my nose and cystic acne on my cheeks. My skin is prone to scarring whether I pop a zit or not. I use retin A micro gel a few times a week to help keep my skin clear and minimze the scarring. Right now I use cetaphil cleanser for oily skin (not great but at least I know it doesn't add to my breakouts or dry my skin out although I still get at least one pimple a week-still looking for a natural cleanser that won't break me out) and aubrey organics natural sun spf 25 uva/uvb sunscreen (awesome! makes my skin glow-but it does take a few minutes to absorb so be prepared for a white cream) http:www.mercola.com and carley's clear & smooth virgin coconut natural day time moisturizer http://www.clearandsmoothskin.com (I love this natural moisturizer-it doesn't aggravate my oily acne prone skin yet leaves my skin looking much healthier and clearer). I also rub virgin coconut oil http://www.tropicaltraditions.com or nutiva hemp oil on my face over my moisturizer at night and that seems to help my skin and give it a glow. I also use sephora's great pumpkin mask a couple of times a week to exfoliate. I think it helps my acne. I still get acne though, mostly from stress, going out at night, and during my time of the month, or from picking at my skin (major no! no! but who hasn't?) I haven't fully come up with a system that works but I highly recommend the coconut oil moisturizer and sunscreen to everyone.

I have been using Arbonne since September, 2006. I like it at first but now I have developed dry patches on my forhead. I am thinking its to harsh for my skin. When calling my representative, all she said was I am past the 45 day guarantee. I called the 800 number & they could give me no solution. I am sending back the product. Has anyone experienced this with Arbonne?

Two cleansers- Purpose Gentle Cleanser at night (removes makeup, tear free, great for eye makeup), Cetaphil Gentle cleanser in morning. Two Moisturizers- Day -Neutrogena Oil-Free Sensitive Skin, alcohol free does not burn sensitive, mild roscea skin, Night-Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. Treatment- Benzyl Peroxide 2.5%- works like a charm, better than any prescription. I have switched to using a prescription cleaner once a day Plexion, which helps with my redness. Not a makeup fan b/c of breakouts but Bare Escentuals works wonders. I am hooked! I don’t hear "wow your makeup looks great" but how glowing my SKIN looks!

I use ST.Ives apricot scrub twice daily.
Every other day I use proactiv face scrub once.
My skin is always clear.
If you use proactiv and have dry skin, don't use the toner, if you have oily skin, don't use the lotion.

I have occasional breakouts and I started using the new L'oreal acne regimen and I love it!!! My mom who's 50 yrs old swears by it too! We have seen a tremendous difference in our skin.

Arbonne! All natural skin care line! There is only a small percentage of companies who actually do this and Arbonne is one of them. Does not test on animals OR use any animal byproducts like most cosmetic companies do that can irritate your skin. My skin has never been so clear until I switched to Arbonne.

i swear by neutrogena healthy skin lotion with aha and bha for night (the stinging only lasts a couple of days) and my skin is really glowy. for day i use dove sensitive lotion as everything else has broken out my absurdly sensitive skin. i dont feel that you have to spend a lot of money for great products as i like these two products better than creme de la mer (which broke me out badly!). i am a reformed tanner, i now use a great bronzer instead, and i really miss it but i'd rather not have the nasty side effects. above all, everyone's skin is different so have fun trying products until you find the ones that work best for you. and check out this site for great product reviews: www.makeupalley.com

happy holidays!
