J Brand Jeans: Why Angelina Jolie & I Love Them

Upon her arrival in India to begin filming The Mighty Heart, Angelina Jolie realized she had underpacked. She sent a fashion SOS back to the states to get more pairs of her favorite J. Brand jeans shipped to her (the 14″ cigarette leg in Ink and Jett). Who knew I had so much in common with Angelina — I, too, am a terrible underpacker and addicted to J. Brand jeans. I have three pairs now — the 10″ skinny in Ink(wearing them tucked into boots right now!), the 12″ in grey, and the exact 14″ jeans in Jett as Angelina (well, we don’t exactly wear the same size). The 14″ (ankle circumference) perfectly bridge the gap between the super-skinny jeans and my old beat-up bootcuts. Each pair has the perfect amount of stretch and no logos or branding on them — even celebrities want a little bit of anonymity in their lives. A word of warning: wash the black jeans before you wear them with a white shirt. And yes, I did learn that the hard way — hope Angelina didn’t have to, as well! — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

They look great on her. I can only afford one pair as they are quite expensive, but I just saw that hautelook.com is having a sale on this line today. They were all 50% off or more. So it looks like i’ll be getting some new jeans now!
