Are Cameron and Kate Dressing Their Age?

Who’s older: Kate Winslet or Cameron Diaz? If you looked at photos from last night’s New York City premiere of their film The Holiday and assumed Kate — based on her severe black Zac Posen suit and pulled-back hair — was older, you’d be wrong. At 31 years old, Kate is actually three years younger than micro-mini-wearing Cameron (also in Zac Posen). The verdict? These ladies just aren’t dressing their age. Can’t you picture Diane Sawyer in Kate’s suit and Lindsay Lohan in Cameron’s glitzy frock? From the neck down, these two could be mother and daughter! We usually love Kate’s sophisticated style and Cameron’s fun-loving ways, but maybe they should shake it up and swap closets for a while! Tell us: Do you think they are dressing appropriately for their age? Do they need to?

Gifts for Everyone: A Dog Lover like Leo

For those of us with dogs, playing fetch can occasionally be more fun for the pooch than for our tired throwing arm. Give your pooch-loving friends the gift that Leonardo DiCaprio (and a frisky French Bulldog) is already putting to good use — the Chuckit! Ball Launcher, $10. It may look like a back-scratcher, but it’s actually a panacea for your weary arm, letting you consistently throw anywhere between 100 and 140 feet. So, just make sure to take this gift outside before you test it out!

Joanie’s Take: The Inside Scoop on America’s Next Top Model

Model and America’s Next Top Model alum (cycle 6) Joanie Dodds gives a weekly insider’s view on the hit show.

Not a very eventful episode — or at least not as eventful as I hoped it would be. The episode kicked off with the girls pairing off with a male dancer to learn flamenco, which was super-sexy and fun. Then they had to actually perform their new steps in front of an audience, which definitely scared Amanda. Melrose, you evil prude, I love you in your pics, but I hate watching you on TV! I want you to just BE NICE! CariDee was a pretty good dancer, but Eugena rocked out in the dancing and won the challenge.

Jennifer Garner: From Frumpy to Fab!

Wowza! We’ve gotten so used to seeing Jennifer Garner in mommy mode — comfy clothes, no makeup — with adorable daughter Violet, that we almost forgot what a knockout she is! Hitting the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards (husband Ben Affleck is featured in the issue) last night, the star sizzled in a strapless purple Versace minidress, tousled waves, and sexy peep-toe pumps. And if anyone was wondering if Baby #2 is on the way for Ben and Jen, her taut physique lays all those rumors to rest. Now, that’s one hot mama! Tell us: What do you think of Jen’s red-carpet look?

Eve Takes on NYC!

Whoever thinks celebrities enjoy a relaxing schedule certainly hasn’t spent a day with Eve. Yesterday, the rapper and spokesperson for MAC Viva Glam VI, whose proceeds benefit AIDS and HIV patients, woke up bright and early at 4:30 am to promote World AIDS Day (which takes place Dec. 1). Her first stop was MAC’s Harlem store, where she mingled with fans and signed autographs. Next, the songstress hopped in a car and sped downtown to enjoy a quick lunch before making an even quicker shopping trip to Kiki De Montparnasse, a high-end lingerie store in the trendy SoHo neighborhood. With less than hour to shop, Eve picked up a whopping $2985 worth of merchandise, including at least two bustiers, one baby doll top, one pair of cashmere tights, and one pair of black skinny pants. Talk about speed shopping! Eve then switched back into role-model mode and headed across town to a settlement house in lower Manhattan to attend a program on youth and HIV prevention. She even did her part by helping MAC employees and young fans hand out condoms in the city streets. It’s all in a day’s work, right?
